  • co.uk = company uk, if you were just .org then i could understand! CCCS don't charge for debt advice, why are you charging for CSA advice?

  • suggest you check your research...we also have nacsa.org, and nacsa.org.uk because we are an organisation...but we are managed by NACSA LTD - which again you are free to check with companies house....we are a NOT FOR PROFIT COMPANY. Do you honestly think if i was interested in profit i would charge just £40 when all other specialists/solicitors charge in their hundreds??

    If i was also looking at profits i wouldnt actually be sitting here at nearly midnight trying to assist people

    get real!
  • I checked already :) You have 11 posts...did you just decide to come on here tonight to peddle your wares??? I've got some advice for free... don't want to deal with CSA, don't get yourself up the duff. /me dons flameproof hat ;)

  • your absolutely right...i did just that. and that was because someone emailed me to say someone had posted on this site asking about NACSA, and would i respond. and i did. If i had come onto the site saying "Hey Everyone, why not forget this site and come and join us" i could understand your problem.

    Sorry Nacsa! But you have been found out. MonkeySaving is right ... I cant believe that you lot were once a torch in the dark ... that could have been FORTY pounds worth of food out of my kids mouth.

    Cheers MS!:T

  • If I had anything to hide I would be worried. We dont charge to give advice, we charge a VERY nominal fee compared to others, to gain the benefits of subscription.

    People can contact us or not - it really doesnt change anything. I will continue to give my help - free of charge as i do now to those that email us.
  • No ... No ... No ... dont go for Nacsa

    i did ... and what a waste of £40 (= 10 Happy Meals at mcD's).

    i came to MSE looking for advice and was shown the way to NACSA. For God's sake it could have been NASA as far as I was concerned ... out of this world!

    Everything you need to know is here in MSE. The people I dealt with at NACSA were obviously sub-contractors. One "agent" I got on the phone was so incoherent that I ask for an English speaking supervisor ... and |I was put through to a scottish bloke who I couldn't understand either.

    God ... what next?????????

    Xmas Saver!
    I do not mean to be disrespectful to anybody on this thread, but the 1st lady started a thread as she needed help, advice and support, its not to have a moan or acuse companies of peddling their goods.

    Compared to what a solicitor would charge, if there was an organisation, that worked and there was a one off subscription charge, then we as adults are of sane mind to make up our mind. That person looking into the organisation can say yes or no.
    Thers foeums here for nearly every subject, let this be what it was intended for, HELP, SUPPORT AND ADVICE FOR PERSON WHO STARTED THE THREAD.
    xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    You are quite right ... but as others have said, there are pitfalls to avoid ... and this thread has brought one of these to light. It may not answer the original question, but it has safeguarded her.

    It is just one opinion ... amongst many others

  • What a 'great' thread this one is!

    It's got lots of stuff on it:-

    1 some uncomplimentary things about Scottish people and some fairly blatant advertising on behalf of MacDonalds (both by OMG);

    2 some not very well informed stuff about how domain registration works (by MonkeySaving [and also apparently by enemes who, it would appear, by virtue of an admitted profession, ought to know better];

    3 some insulting stuff about a non-profit making organisation (by various) ; and

    4 a mention of me (which obviously make it all worth while ;) ).

    Now come on everyone. We are actually here to help. Get over it.
