Seems that I’m off to a good start
on the coast of Lochinver the snow doesn't tend to hang around looks like it might be a good day as it’s the array is already dumping power back into the batteries and the grid at the moment

12 x JASolar 455w Panels (5.46kWp south facing array) Enphase Microinverters IQ7+, Lux AC ESS 3.6kW, 5 x 2.4kwh = 12kWh Plyontech US2000C Battery storage, Lochinver far North, west coast of Scotland1 -
Damn then I need to see where i can source another pair, seems right though as i read that they appear to be able to discharge to a lower rate than some others. But I’ll need to find some then.chamelion said:
I've been told they're not cross-compatible.Starfrog said:Interesting, I have 2 x Aoboet batteries could i just add two pylontec batteries to the mix ? They look exactly the same and are the same type and specification ?——-

According to the blurb, you should be getting a max of 3.5kw charge/discharge with 2 of those batteries.Starfrog said:

With 2 Pylontechs, you would only get 2.4kw.

Ahh my apologies, I assumed.. silly me.Starfrog said:Interesting, I have 2 x Aoboet batteries could i just add two pylontec batteries to the mix ? They look exactly the same and are the same type and specification ?
The default is pylontech, and I assumed you also had pylontech, I dont know how the aoboet batteries work, nor how stackable they are, id guess you would have to phone Michael/Jake to ask them.
EVandPV yeah I have about 8" of snow, I'm getting zero solar todayWest central Scotland

So they can do 3.5kw, and will work down to 0 degrees.
And list as max 8 on a lux system.
Micky may well want to sell his pylons (really cheaply to me 😂😂) and buy some aoboet batteries to reduce the restriction on temperature.
I wonder how they compare on price??West central Scotland
