  • dont get too excited.. I save about £1 a day using go on my import ... but overall I "like" having the solar and now batteries.. My ROI on the batteries will be in excess of 10 years BUT my FIT will have covered it in 2-3 years

The "6 batteries" are actually a representation of parallel inverters as you can have lots of them connected together in theory.

Yeah high consumption because for the last 3 months I've been charging 17kwh a night to take the brunt of running the days electric at 5ppkwh instead of 15ppkwh.

wonder what the limit would be for me to attach to the single inverter in batteries ? I assume another inverter possibly ? I really need to get someone that actually knows how to fit this stuff and set it up beyond the current working setup I have.

Michael and jake (pv pro, think renewables, homeswitch, etc) said that you can put an unlimited amount of batteries on an inverter,  but really I'd think 8 would be a reasonable limit.
Adding batteries couldn't be any simpler tbh, they are modular, so you just slot it in and connect 3 leads and job done.

Do you not need to configure dip switches etc and set WiFi ?

Nah, dip switches, you just copy the last in your current stack, no WiFi to set

Interesting, I have 2 x Aoboet batteries could i just add two pylontec batteries to the mix ? They look exactly the same and are the same type and specification ?

    I've been told they're not cross-compatible.
