What your seeing there Starfrog is just a snapshot of what's going on, it's not realtime.
The web portal only updates about every 2 minutes so to see what's happening live, best to look at the screen on the Lux.
Even though you set zero export, you'll still see some brief export at times when the Lux adjusts it's power input/output but should only be for a few seconds until the Lux catches up with any changes in your generation or consumption.

Totally agree about snapshot of data but today's export is 10 % of generation.. that cannot be right at this time of year?

on the lux it says the export is 0.7kw while the import is 4kw, but my consumption today 9.2——-

Generation from previous picture 6.8 kW.... 0.7 is pretty near 10%

when you say that the export is 10% of generation (give or take) cannot be right is that because its winter and should be much lower ? just trying to understand, im absolutely loving all the information and finding out how best to get this to its optimum setting. The house is south facing and the panels are 455w panels x 12

In summer I may generate 30+ kW... my daily usage in winter is about 15 kW (less in summer) batteries 10 kW , but they probably wont be "empty" in summer but say they are.. so in theory I should have at least 5 kW spare for the grid so more than 10%. Theses figures are "rough" and if you look at my screen grab I exported 878 kW from a generation of 4092.. about 20% in almost exactly a year. 10% export at this time of year seems high it should be practically nothing unless the batteries are full and you are not using any power at home... Just my opinion and others have had systems longer that me but something does not look right to me.

So we've generated 3kwh today and exported 0.1kwh, which is about right at this time of year.
10% is a tad high certainly. Were your batteries at 100% at any point today ?
If you click on the data tab, you'll see a SOC graph in the top right which is your batteries state of charge for the whole day. That'll tell you if they were at 100% at some point.

not sure if it ever hit 100% as the only time it gets charged a lot is by solar and if it falls below 10 percent as sometimes I see it at 6% the grid powers it up to above 10
