Yeah, you can see your export is really low some days although a few days where it's quite high. Hard to say why without delving deeper into your stats but I'd guess your battery was full at some point on those days where your export was around 4 or 5kwh.

Just checked back and the last time our export was higher than 0.6kwh was early October.

I have more solar output so it helps save the battery from draining but when it does and it does everyday then it needs a good day to recharge but I think ive only ever see it get up to the full charge 2 maybe 3 times now

I'll be adding a large Air source heat pump to my mix so thats going to definitely eat into my power from renewables and the grid. its covering a 2700sq ft house two levels so im thinking the pump is going to be at least a 14kw, having said that it will do away with the oil boiler and the electric hot water.

I had a nice bit of solar today,

However because I've been charging my batteries overnight with go to 90% I ended up exporting 6.1kwh... thats pretty annoying, but meh, what can you do.

I have a theory about your export.
If you were generating more than 2.4kw from solar, then the battery would be topped out in what it could receive, so the rest would be exported.

So if for 20 mins you were generating 3.4kw, and for arguments sake say the house used nothing,  then for that 20 mins you would be exporting 1kw which would give an export of 0.3kwh.

liking your little app icon of the 6 battery where the lux is :) I seeing your consumption and now I dont feel so bad about my high rates lol. I think my battery will really come into being useful when I can charge it at night with the octopus go rate then it will power the house during the night and early morning and hopefully begin to be charged back up during the day with the solar and then it will help power the rest of the day but I think adding another battery would be worth it to maximise my batteries to the full ? 7.4kw should do for the evening maybe or just get another two can I run 4 batteries 9.6 on a single lux inverter 3.6 ?
