Bit of light relief - what, if anything, will you be buying your pet for Christmas?

Mine are too old and lazy to appreciate anything.
I did buy them a Dreamies Advent Calendar one year but by about the 4th day they'd gone off Dreamies!
They'll probably get a little treat of some turkey at some point over the Christmas period.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 20140 -
Mine will get the gift of life. Until Christmas I won't kill him for waking me up at silly o clock in the morning wanting feeding.
He's also got a stocking full of red balls as they're his favourite. More to doWith design that colour I'm sure. He likes to put them in our shoes. He's also got a stick with red tinsel bits on for him to 'kill' in minutes.
I think I'm Going to be strict about people food and see if i can start making him let me brush him and use that as treats.
If I can't brush him Soon he may end up sedated and shaved come spring. He won't be happy than.

I would get our cat a gift but I know he'll prefer the wrapping paper coming off our gifts instead! He loves a box or plastic bag too. Basically all the free stuff we've had lying around the house is his favourite toys while the things we pay for get ignored.0

Our dog loves unwrapping things, we have to keep reminding her not to steal from under the tree. She doesn't damage what's in the wrap she just unwraps them.
One year we wrapped up a ball for her and she played with it for an hour before peeling the wrap off, it was like a whole new toy for her after that lol.0 -
We bought Phoebe a wee bag of jingly balls and a wee tinsel / fishing line / wand kind of thing. Problem is - she got in the cupboard they were hiding in and dragged them out to play with - even tore a wee hole in bag to get the balls out. :rotfl:0

Our pup is getting a big bag of presents organised by my daughter, Ive bought him 3 toys and 4 bags of treats. My daughter has bought him a biscuit tin in the shape of a bone and a toy, the other daughter is buying him a stocking from pets at home. Not sure what son and hubby are getting him. DD is demanding everyone buys him something. Hes the favorite member of the family.0

Well mum, who was so against us getting a kitten, has already got him a stocking
His tree has been built and he loves it. Saving my furniture somewhat0 -
I might give my cat a toilet roll or a kitchen roll as she loves ripping them to bits if she can get hold them. Other than that maybe a cat fishing rod toy for both of them or some new foam balls as all the others have mysteriously disappeared. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Aww don't count it out now
I had a minor op two years ago Christmas Eve , I insisted I was fine within 20 mins and hubby took me home
Had to stop the car twice whilst I threw up
I wanted to die
9pm and I felt good to go
Obviously I don't know what's happening but you know, just don't count Christmas out. Get the treats in JIC
Whatever, hope everything goes well for you xx0
