Bit of light relief - what, if anything, will you be buying your pet for Christmas?

My dogs will get big juicy bones and maybe a new toy.

The dog doesn't know it's Christmas, why would you give it a present ?Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Our dog gets gifts too as she's a member of the family, doesn't get new toys at other times and actually, to her, the unwrapping (or helping other people) is just as much fun!
Probably some more tennis balls and some treats (and a mini share of Christmas dinner)0 -

Nothing for our cat.
Fancy treat foods don't interest her, and she wont lower herself to play with cat toys. No wind up mouse will fool her, she plays with real ones only.
Used to get her a collar for Christmas, but she generally loses them within hours, so not wasting my money on one.
If she would appreciate the gift I would buy her one, but it really isn't worth itZebras rock0 -
I won't be buying my cats anything but my mum probably will. She always buys a little gift for mine and my sisters cats "so they don't feel left out" :rotfl:
It's usually a feather on a stick dangly thing, and maybe a bag of dreamies (she even wraps them up).0 -
A tangle Teaser brush as it's the only brush he can tolerate (I found this out by pinching my daughter's brush for a while) and few bags of doggy snack foods."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

My pup always gets an advent calender with dog treats and a stocking with new toys balls and cuddle toys and a HUGE treat she gets wet food for breakfast and a little bit of people food at dinner - turkey stuffing etc .
they might not know 'its xmas ' but animals definately know something different going on over festive period so its nice that they associate the up heaval of visitors parties giant tree that the not allowed to climb or pee on in the front room with some thing good . ... dunno if memories are good enough to remember from year to year ... the dogs not mine ... but that my theory lolfinances disaster but baby-stepping back to security:
