Bit of light relief - what, if anything, will you be buying your pet for Christmas?

Well with my dog being a Lab it will all be food, not extra food, but replacement turkey, chicken, steak and prawns (which he loves) for kibble. He doesn't really need anything else as if he did I would get it for him anyway. We don't have children, so he is the centre of our universe (that's him on the right in my avatar).
He just had his 6th birthday last Sunday, he ate better than us, we had a sainsbury's pie, but he had a whole roast chicken with gravy (over 4 meals).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
A new umbrella for him to present to Nan to replace the 3 he's murdered so far this year.
And oven gloves.
And tea towels. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

A couple of £1 squeaky toys, they get ripped to shreds in seconds but she does love them so very much and even tries to keep the shredded bits of rubber. A new rope (only toy that survives her), and a portion of Christmas dinner (well the dog friendly bits).
My mum will no doubt buy her a bag of dog chocolates and OHs mum will get her toys and treats for her house.
We used to buy more expensive things but nothing survives her. We bought her a 2 pack of Kong balls and they were ruined within 40 minutes, the black "I can survive Rottweilers" Kong lasted under an hour. Tenacious terrier0 -
Same here Jen
My two wreck everything then squabble over the bits.
So
Some Christmas dinner
A teddy and a squeaky toy (that thankfully lasts a minute if that)
Cats will also get some dinner (there is just me and OH I got a turkey crown to feed 8 lol)
Scratch post
New catnip toys0 -
My girl has a dog advent calendar - it's gorgeous and has a hand made bone biscuit for each day. She has a canvas sack which says "love from santa paws" lol. We have just bought a few new toys for her, only 4 but she will also love shredding the paper!
Last year we gave her Christmas dinner - turkey, boiled potato, sweet potato, carrots , parsnips & sprouts - that disappeared in two minutes flat , so we will do the same this year.
Yes, she's a spoiled little minx but so adorable and loving, I can't resist!!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

We're going to get another cat tree. In part it's a faff carrying the one we have up and down the stairs (they're shut upstairs during the day and are downstairs with us when we're at home) but also as they're getting bigger and more confident, it'd be good to have a taller one for them.
They have advent calendars (I couldn't resist) and I might buy a couple more toys although they probably have enough. We've not given them any "cat milk" or human foods (just wet/dry cat food plus cat treats now and again) so may give them a tin of tuna.
My horse will, as always, receive a multitude of treats and a can of guinness for his feed. He's retired and doesn't need anything so I doubt there'll be any "stuff" this year. We'll spend some quiet quality time which has always been my favourite part of Christmas day!0 -
Gizmo (the rabbit) is getting a big cardboard castle. Once he's done playing with it he'll enjoy tearing it to pieces. And a new festive looking ceramic food bowl. He also gets a Christmas stocking with treats.
The dog has got a new Christmas jumper but that's really for us more than her! Some jumbones, and a new cuddly toy as she loves to suck and knead them.
I've also bought treats for the horses, though some years I've made a sort of horsey Christmas cake for them. When I had the hens, I always gave them warm sweetcorn at Christmas, which they loved.0 -
My dog has so far got: a new frisbee, a tug rope with pigs on it, a ball that looks like a sprout and farts (teehee), a new squirrel-y type raggy toy and a new extending lead. Also have got him a little christmas tie on a velcro collar for him to wear on the day.
He also has an advent calendar and a few festive things to wear like the aforementioned tie and a santa bandana, nothing to frou frou or he would pull it off!
For the poster who questioned why buy dogs gifts as they dont know what day it is, simple really, he is my family and if I wish to spend my money on something that makes him happy (and therefore me) then thats what I am going to do!0
