Thank you everyone, but this has to be a matter of principle. If people are banned for telling the the truth - my previous warning was for saying someone was a practiced liar after they had admitted forging two previous employment references and intended to do it again! So not an offensive statement but the truth. Or banned for taking a stand against racists who regularly post on this site with not even thinly veiled disguises. And we aren't allowed to say a thing about it? What kind of place does this make this site to people who are not white and born in the UK? Preferably for 500 generations or so, just to be sure that they are pure enough! If the kind of conversations that routinely take place on this site happened on street corners, or in shops, or anywhere else, then we would be looking at public order changes and incitement to racial hatred.

I cannot lend my support to this - to turn a blind eye makes me as guilty as they are. Three weeks ago today I was posting, helping people with employment problems, lying in a hospital bed having had a total hip replacement the night before. Why should I show that kind of commitment to something that had no committment to me, or to the things that I value? I really do appreciate the support of people, but my question would have to be - if everyone turns a blind eye, what does that make you? If the site deserves the people it has it'll clean up its act. I don't think it will, so it didn't deserve you.

Well done for calling them out on it in the first place, and well done for your reaction. I'm out of here as well. I'm sure I won't be missed, but their attitude here is abysmal.

I did think that you both could be a bit blunt at times, and there were a few ouch moments, but worth it for the quality of the advice.
I'm sorry to see you go but am not surprised with the stand you've decided to take. And this forum will be the poorer for it.

We refreshing to see someone basically cutting through all the cr*p and telling some people that they were wasting their time/energy/mental health with pursuing issues AND telling people who had genuine chance of either taking a case to tribunal or to fix their employment issue how to go about doing this in a constructive way rather than the 'nasty employer...give it to them'.

Like elsien has said this has happened before with SarEl who I think now posts on another forum. I must admit I'm loathe to support an organisation that allows such racist posting but slaps down posters who remonstrate (even forcefully) with such individuals.

It's going very well thanks. I had to check my PM's that came in - this will disappear soon (surprised it's lasted this long) but I have registered with moderated forums - Legal Beagles and CAG. Anyone who reads this can pass it on if people are looking for me.

Unfortunately certain members will be here first thing in the morning giving out bad advice, with very few willing to challenge them knowing the true facts
