In fairness your eldest is 15.
And whilst I appreciate exams are looming on the horizon surely they can step up and help out?
Sometimes when we can't get the solutions we want, we have to think of alternatives.
I would be wary of leaving without something to go to as you may face a benefits sanction.0 -
If you think its so easy then set your own business up and allow all employees to dictate what hours they want...simples.That's very true!!! But I'm a nice hard working person and always have been. Guess this is a big lesson in life for me and like you all say I need to leave. However as a single mum there doesn't seem to be any child friendly jobs out there. Funny really as the government want single mums back out to work but are not providing child friendly hours and the situation seems to be getting worst. They say there are more rights for employees but there are not I'm afraid :-(Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
OP, wait for sangie595 to post. She is one of the best people here to advise on employment matters.0

Sangie appears to have been PPRd.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I plucked up the courage first thing this morning to ring the managing director of the complany and explained everything. I also sent pictures I had taken over the months and recording of conversations I had taken over the months. I am pleased to say I have just had a phone call saying this managed has been instantly dismissed on grounds of Mal practice and sexual harassment and the company have offered me more child friendly hours.
I would like to thank everyone for the kind and helpful messages I received but to the last few posts that were put on which were very immature and negative to those people I would like to say shame on you!
My advice to anyone else in here who experience difficulties at work your mobile phone is a great tool! Make sure you use it to take photos, videos and record conversations! Don't let ignorant and abusives members of management get away with bullying, harassment and inappropriate behaviour.0 -

There are laws out there to protect employees from such behaviour you just need to make sure you have the evidence.0 -

I don't believe a word of that.
You've mentioned nothing of any abuse or harassment, and they're not going to dismiss a manager without some kind of investigation.
I'm sorry the answers didn't tell you what you wanted to hear, but this response makes absolutely no sense.0 -

And if this user is a reason for Sangies PPR then that's a seriously bad call0
