    Morning

Thanks for the lists ladies, and a special hug of support for Valli xxx

I'm in but off-list. I'm truly at a loss as to how I seem to have less time than when I was working. I must have slept less (probably true!).

Today is laundry, we definitely need milk and pack up bits, and cage cleaning. Conservatory pongs a bit  Will also change my bed, kids bedding swapped yesterday and in WM now.

I'm going to set myself a challenge of emptying the bag that has been sat in my hallway since half term  so annoying... And check over my accounts. I think they are sweating, to say the least!!!

Welcome redshank sounds like you will fit in nicely :D xx

I'm still here, just been doing my own thing a bit! It was DD's 14th birthday yesterday and we had some family over so I cleaned and tidied for 4 hours almost non stop. House still looks a pigsty so going to try to focus on doing up to an hour a day and try to keep it decent. Currently sat on the sofa in my PJs with Whiz Whippet snuggled up all cosy so first thing will be to get up and dressed I think! After I've done my housework my reward will be to go out for a walk whilst the sun is shining.

As usual, I've not kept up with anything at all but Valli sending you and your sister big hugs from me.

Right, time to shift this Whippet ....

Right off into the lounge, with duster and hoover!!

  • Hi everyone, I'm in again, although I've not been doing a very good job so far! House generally gets a hoover and dust at the weekends so it looks OK but I'd like to get more on top of it. Monday is generally a bad flying day for me as I don't get home til 8, then by the time I've eaten, exercised and showered I'm about ready for bed!! But I shall try to do at least a little bit tonight!

Monday ~ Lovely Living Room, Happy Hall and Safe Stairs
    15 minutes...
    [STRIKE]Declutter all these areas[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust any areas below eye level[/STRIKE]
    Got an hour...
[STRIKE]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, should the magazines really be on the floor?[/STRIKE]
Also polished wood and glass surfaces.
Finished, checked and emailed a report.
    Ordered some new assessment forms.
Picked a few flowers, put in a vase in the living room.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
  • Hi all

Hi Redshank. Pull up a seat and help yourself to tea and biscuits. In theory this thread is about housework but we have become quite a family on here and newcomers are always welcome.

Been feeling a bit glum so doing my best to fight back. A brisk dog walk after paid stuff no. 1 helped. Have run around with the carpet sweeper, gathered up stray mugs and washing. Done the airer shuffle and on with more paid stuff now.

Sorry I missed your birthday Iona. Hope DH is feeling better.
