The bed has not even been made because I have been in it.

But I have had some early tea and a drink and tablets.

Here's hoping I can be better and more productive tomorrow. I have ironing to catch up on. Wouldn't want to not have it all done for the end of the year challenge.
Just concentrate on decluttering that cold, Jazee. x
I see from your subsequent post that you did the ironing - I was going to ask if you could sit down to do it - if I'm going to iron, I have the board set as low as it will go and sit on my computer chair. But usually Mr LW does what little ironing we have. :A

    Tomorrow is another day. Right?
Correct! :o Baby steps, hun; we've all been there, done that and got the t-shirt.

I have to get a task done, and tomorrow is a good opportunity; I'm posting it here so that I have to crack on with it.

I need to get Mr LW's Yule card finished. I have the design in my head, and have set up the bits that need cutting on the Cr!cut and saved the project, just need to put the coloured card in the machine and cut it, and assemble the card. He's off out to the farmers market tomorrow morning, for our monthly shop (I don't go along, I'd only slow him down) so I really need to do it while he's out. :o

I've already done his birthday card ready for Monday - design based on a D&D Paladin - sort of knight in shining armour with a whacking great sword. :D Cos we met at D&D. ;)

Evening all. Thanks for your comments LW, I did the ironing standing, but I have been known to sit to do it. Only took 45 mins, I try not to do too much either.

So I have been to appt with DD, had lunch out but couldn't taste it, have hoovered through and sorted out the dogs sleeping/cage arrangements. They have a new bed in the kennel in the garden for when they want it (it's used more by a local cat who gets locked out at night) and no cage now in the bedroom as they're sleeping on their big beds next to each other. Only a small cage now in the LR so that Poppet can escape from Littleydog when she needs to.. Littley can still escape from Poppet by jumping on the sofa.

Washing up done and as I'm not hungry I'll not make any tea so that will save on any other dishes to do.

I am already in my PJs. Right, must feed the dogs.

    See you all tomorrow.

*Healing vibes* heading your way, Jazee.

    (((Hugs))) for you, Valli.

I may not have made the cushions this week but I have sorted the kitchen boxes and reduced their number by five, and refilled the recycling bag with gibble so that's twice this week it's been crammed full to get stuff out of the house. We've found the fridge and freezer we want so they should be with on Thursday and we're now working on the tricky space left for storage to make it work hard and look good. Minimilist kitchen - doesn't really happen, does it? All the pictures that show what looks like minimilist kitchens are in fact vast, with masses and masses of storage space.

I also managed to clear the wretched, wretched frogs that have been dogging me for a few weeks, apart from the last few smaller things to go on the bay of e. They'll get done today because the harder ones are finally finally finally listed. Such a relief. Not all sure how and what to tackle next because while the house is coming together in some ways, making what we've chosen to keep work well, look and feel right is trickier.
    Better is good enough.

Morning all, oops it's afternoon. What a lovely day. I've been out for a walk with the dogs which was longer than intended due to a detour so I'm now depleted of energy so shall rest this afternoon.

    Dailies have been done.

Enjoy the rest of today everyone, see you on the new thread.

Aww, bless. :o One of my regular visitors, Ronnie, at 10 years old, still has his puppy crate; he travels in it when he comes to stay, and his proper bed is put in the kitchen (and is moved into our bedroom at night) and the crate goes in the lounge with the door left open, so if he wants to pop in there for a snooze or just a time-out, he can.:o

I got up with a rotten cold this morning *cough, snuffle, snuffle* - so taking it steady today to be fit enough to celebrate Mr LW's birthday tomorrow. We're supposed to be going out for lunch (better for me than an evening meal out) and we have a bottle of champagne to have in the evening, at home.

  • Hi all

5 hours paid stuff done, some washing actually hung out and almost dried, DS1 is making pizza. DH took DS2 to footie so that I could work.

The dog wanted a walk and since I was trying to work he decided that the only way to get my attention was to try and climb onto the computer chair with me. I swear he was grinning at me as he did it. He got his walk.

Clean washing to sort and iron where necessary, kitchen floor is filthy but it can wait until DS has finished his pizza making. Might get the tree out of the loft tonight.

Most of the stuff I wanted to get on the bay of e has made it but the camera decided to have a tanty when I wanted to re-photograph the last lot. The biggest and most expensive item had a bid on it within 17 minutes of going live and another within 30 minutes. They're priced to sell but not silly cheap in the condition they're in so I'm absolutely thrilled.
