Chuck in a peeled chunky sliced potato or 2, remove before serving & throw away, They should absorb some of the heat.

    Good luck

Put a couple of potatoes in it and cook - then remove potatoes and throw them away unless you like spicy potatoes!

Or you could add natural yoghurt to dish.

  • Do you have any other mince?, you could cook this very plainly then 'dilute' the spicy one

Another way of dealing with hot spices is to add a dairy product. Butter, milk, cream or cheese depending on which would be most suitable for the dish. They really take the edge off spices.

If you're in a restaurant and get served a hotter meal than you can deal with, ask for a bread roll with some extra butter on the side and put loads on. Then nibble between each mouthful.

add sugar to spicy dishes to tame them down....

apples and bananas are also very good at helping deal with spicy dishes, it's the natural sugars in the fruit that works wonders - don't drink water....makes it hotter!!!
