    Good Morning All

Forgot to mention my strokes of luck yesterday 20% off boots at Clarks and while stood in M&S waiting to pay a lady gave me a coupon for 20% off, so made some really good savings on what I needed and there is kindness in the world.

Am shattered, didn't sleep well as my legs were killing me, so might slow down a bit today. Today's list:

Packed lunch for DH & DS - Done
    Check Bank - Done
    Dog sitting again for DD-
    Craft -
    Wrap mum's b'day gifts - Done
    Continue purge on emails -
    Surveys -
    Enter a few comps -
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer -
Check: Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL -

    Have a great day all!

Yesterday expensive day for me. Broke my not buying anything new challenge as went to blue water for the day with a friend. Don't regret it for a minute! I got 4 tops and some makeup. I was also looking for either a black pair of smart wide legged trousers or boot cut jeans but couldn't find any. Glad I didn't as I have just found a pair of jeans that need the hem repairing and a pair of charcoal wide legged trousers that need taking up in my drawers!

I had my bra size measured and I have gone up 2 sizes! How is this possible? ! Anyone else's boobs just growing as you're getting older? I have gone from an a cup in my early adulthood to now a dd cup  admittedly I'm a bit bigger than I was at 20, probably about 1 stone heavier, and am now an 8-10 size. But why is this happening????? And why are bras for larger boobs so expensive?! Rant over!

    Today's efforts:
Jumper and scarf on, no heating
Make batch of potato & leek soup and freeze to use up leeks
Make batch if fake heinz soup - have high hopes for this soup!
    Freeze tom pizza topping sauce
Take some photos for fleabay - need to pick up some cash!
Go to aldi to finish off next 3 weeks of shopping :)
Play group this arvo with madam
    Sort out house
    Craft/toys/games with madam
    Sew buttons on mac
Nip to tkmax to see if they have bras I don't need a mortgage for

    That'll do x

Morning all :) Hope everyone is OK, no baby to report on, I think his movements have been slightly "off" so I'm debating ringing the maternity unit to just get checked over - I hate bothering people though, I feel like I'm just a worrier! I will give it an hour and see how it goes. Music magpie have emailed me - I sent them an old laptop which I believed to be in good condition, however they deemed it "poor condition", however they were still offering me a good price and I just want it out the way after no luck trying to get rid of it on ebay/gumtree, therefore I accepted their offer. Todays list:

    - Check bank accounts
    - SWagbucks/My Survey/Nectar Canvas
    - Chill out day

I think that's all I'm going to plan for today so far, take care all x

  • Go and get checked for peace of mind Katy, you're not bothering anyone. Although I kinda have a feeling they do slow down before the birth. But best to get these things checked. Even just for peace of mind as stress hormone is no good for you or bubba x

I have phoned and am going to get checked up at 11.30 for peace of mind :) Midwifes now say that babies movements should not slow down before birth and their pattern should stay the same up to and in labour :) The national campaign is called "kicks count" its a really useful read :)

    Afternoon all :)
Sending positive thoughts, Foxgloves. Easy to say, I know, but try not to worry too much.

    So far today I have:
    HM meals from stores
Got rhubarb out of freezer to cook for breakfast fruit, to save using bought fresh fruit Now cooked while the oven was on for other things :)
    Wrapped 2 ebay parcels
    Listed a few more items
Cleaned through most of the house (OH helped :A)
No heating on downstairs, though it is dark, cold and wet again here :(

    Still to do:
1 more ebay parcel to wrap Done
Go to post office - I will need to drive as I have 3 large boxes and the PO is a mile away. I often walk, but this lot won't fit in my trolley! Done
Pop into Sainsburys while out, to pick up the few items that Lidls didn't have when I shopped at the weekend. Also help myself to some more of their free wine boxes by the checkouts for more ebay parcels :)Done
Make a leftovers pie for dinner, from stuff in the fridge Yum, leftover pot roast pheasant, mushrooms, veg and gravy. Enough for tomorrow as well :D
Used up leftover pastry to make some little mincemeat tarts to use up a couple of spoonfuls of mincemeat that wouldn't fit in the jars, and have been lurking in the fridge for a couple of weeks :)
Sort out veg drawers in fridge, to see if anything else needs freezing or using up! Likewise larder contents. Found some bread that had gone dry, added butter, a couple of spoonfuls of tinned tomatoes, leftover mushrooms, a couple of inches of chopped chorizo and some grated cheese. Now have fridge bottom pizzas for lunches for the next couple of days :)
Rest of tin of tomatoes now in freezer
Light wood stove before long as it is getting really chilly in here  Toasty now :D
Still got to make a sponge cake for littlest GD to decorate tomorrow as it will be her third birthday :)
