  • ok, kool. how much would it jump to, after £20.00 a month?

I think full price is around £25pm but I'm not 100% on that. Needless to say, I'll be looking for another deal at that point.

yes you must. At least you got £30.00 discount for the six months. once out of contract you will be in a much better position.

I have the best of both worlds. I have manage to keep hold of my current package, have discounts on my package, and not agreed to a 12 or 18 month contract. I really hope i keep my legacy package once my discounts run out, but we shall see!!
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

    And more:

My fibre broadband switched to Plusnet on 15 November and I had to cancel TalkTalk essential SIM separately which I did. Now they have billed me £5.00p for the essential SIM for the period 01 December to 31 December. Phoned to complain because I never activated the SIM and promised a new bill but not forthcoming yet.

Ok it's only £5.00p but if they take that payment by Direct Debit I'll be entering the official complaints procedure and taking it all the way to Ofcom if necessary. Of course if I cancel the DD they will charge me £10.

The catch 22 is that a switch takes 10 days but cancellation of the free mobile SIM which is billed separately takes 30 days. In my case although I cancelled the SIM on 04 November the notice period started on the day of the switch, 15 November.

Will I ever be free of TalkTalk?
