That's a good idea LSD (it always makes me laugh calling you LSD
). I like to have that visual reminder too, that's why i do my spreadsheet. Although i think I'm addicted to filling it in
At least you dont have to worry about the bills being paid

Im addicted to writing new sheets and spreadsheets too! :rotfl: i have my 2011-2016 papers in a file together. I love organising things, when i have time!
At the moment i feel like im hitting my head against a wall trying to sort the house out.
Managed to sort ds1's clothes thoughStill here..... but working on that!0 -
What can you do to break the task down on the house front? Some people say go for 15 minute bursts." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Good idea bob, im going to tackle it bit by bit. Its not untidy here, but we have lots of things we dont need/use/want, plus we all got given so much stuff for xmas that its been hard finding places for it all.
I need to tidy the airing cupboard and on top of mine and dh's wardrobes. Small things, but ill feel better when they're done! Ive done the wardrobes. I also need to do the kitchen cupboards.
I filled a black bag the past few days, i left it upstairs and its full of things we dont need.
Money wise - our bank account switch happens tomorrow  i hope it all goes smoothly!!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
So the bank account switch happened, it was ok, except i had no money all day thurs due to a 'technical' error. All sorted now though.
I havent spent this week really, i got a voucher for £15 off a £50 shop, which i ordered, and meant that i didnt buy anything i didnt need. I havent been out for lunch with friends or spent and any extra on groceries.
In fact its been a good week
Im working again today, and have my chicken and spinach pasta in a lunch box at the ready. Theres loads left so ill probably give some to a colleague who likes to eat healthily and is always offering me things.
I get paid in a couple of days, yet theres already money in the bank, im so happy :j
I transferred a balance yesterday to my tesco cc, it was on the mbna one and the interest free period was running out shortly. Its now extended to Nov after moving it.
My two other credit cards which are 0% have dd's set up so that they'll be paid off before the interest kicks in. This leaves me with just the Tesco cc to pay off (albeit a big balance), and £382 on the very account, which is interest free until Nov. Im going to set up a dd of £40 to pay that off before then.
A positive start to 2017 :beer:Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Glad the switch went ok. I am going to be doing the same thing next pay cycle we've just been getting organised and tidying up loose ends.
I'm off to work shortly too. Hope your day goes well, the pasta sounds lovely." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks it was a lean in 15 recipe. Ive just had my leftovers for lunch. It was quite nice.
Just paid £56 off the very account, and set up a direct debit for every month. I'm going to make regular payments as and when i can like today and hopefully ill get it paid off sooner. I can then crack on with the dreaded t3sco cc  which will take a loooong time yet.
So broken down my debts are:
Very - dd set up to pay £40 a month, got to be paid before Nov.
Mbna - dd set up for £25 to be paid off before interest free period ends.
Sainsburys cc - dd set up for £35 to pay if off before interest free period ends.
Tesco cc - currently paying minimum, but will pay off as soon as the very account is at £0.
Love feeling organised and that i am actualy getting somewhere, at least with the dd's leaving my account automatically i wont not make the payments.Still here..... but working on that!0 -
So my pay day has arrived :j :j :j not a huge pay and next month will be a lot less (because of commission). Anyway its enough to keep us going. I want to pay some debts off but im worried that ill need it later on in the month for something.....
Ive just realised that the next two months there'll be no council tax, so i think ill pay that off my v3ry account, as i wouldnt usually have it anyway
Had my lunch in work, i had sweet potato and tuna. Very yummy, and so was the chocolate i had after it :rotfl:
Tonight we're all eating in mil's, and tomorrow ill take the baby to a playgroup (£1.50) and then im going for a walk with a friend. hopefully there'll be no other spends, although i havent been food shopping yet!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Just got paid today as well. And snap. Don't want to go too crazy just in case." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
