Worryingly I shopped this morning at Sainsbury's at 7:00am and there were queues :o. I always shop at this time on a Sat and generally have the store practically to myself. Worse is yet to come I fear! Think I'll 'do' it at 4:00 am at the the end of the week. Oh, the horror!

Went to TK Maxx today to buy a whistling kettle (great bargain, was £25, now £7.99, stainless steel). I was really worried that at 12 noon it would be packed but it was virtually empty!

Cut out the pictures on your Crimbo cards and turn them into gift tags for next year.

Try collecing other people's old cards too to make more! Those you can't use, send for recycle.

Open your pressies carefully and reuse the paper. This is made easier if you by metallic paper.
