Well me and the kids been back to school for over a week now. Kids loving being back and this is there first week back so they are a bit tired at night. i'm still a bit nervous going about the school but wear my mask.
No plans for this weekend which will be good to relax in the house. Last week we had my parents over for dinner in the back garden for my mother's birthday on Saturday and friends over on Friday night for drinks and chat in the back garden.2 -

Well last week was less eventful than the previous week. Thank goodness. 2 weeks ago son woke up with cold and cough so we had to get his tested on Sunday. No results by Wednesday so he got tested again. Eventually we got results after 10pm on Friday night. Stayed in for a full 6 days no school or work and it all got to me as also trying to deal with other family matters when you are stuck in. They need to get the testing and processing of these sorted.1

Due to go away in 3 weeks time to a cottage in largs. Fingers crossed this can still happen. Interesting to see if we put into lockdown as our area numbers are rising.1 -

Made an extra payment of £1700 today towards the mortgage. This was some money which I put by during lockdown and think it’s ok to pay out to the mortgage the now.Well waiting to see if we can still go on our long weekend holiday on Friday to Largs. Started to get things ready but will need to see what restrictions are going to be put in place by Nicola surgeon and if we are still able to go. We all hope we can still go including the kids as they love Largs and it would be our first holiday away in a cottage just ourselves.Things going ok here. Been a bit stressed some days with all that going on but it’s fine and plodding along working. Kids back to their activities and seem to like them. I started back to Zumba last Wednesday as survived it.
yesterday we went to the owl sanctuary in Livingston and it was a good day out seeing all the owls as well as the show. Glad we managed to get booked due to a cancellation.2 -
