:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No Valli, I didn't. Could you, as you're obviously the expert, advise me whether it's possible to get a bistro-style kitchen table in the back of a Hyundai i10? It's too scruffy to sell.

Jazee I have been guilty of gadget-hoarding in the past, but I've gradually disposed of them over the years. But talking about kitchen stuff, our microwave has taken to making loud shorting-out noises, as if we'd put something metal in......today we decided that it would be safer to just replace it, it must be well over 10yrs old.

My frog is almost done. I have cleared the bottom 2 shelves in question, so every file/box has been gone through, and have been able to transfer 6 magazine boxes full of assessment paperwork onto one of the shelves (1 box holds 1 or 2 months worth of assessment stuff). The last (top) shelf remains to be done, but at least I now have room for 5 more months worth of assessment stuff on the shelf nearest my desk so I can reach them. Really pleased with that.

    Thoughts to Bossymoo and family.
Wind/rain not too bad here in Herts, but just spoke to my mum in Bournemouth area and it has been very wild.

Not a clue! Can it be folded/dismantled?

Woot on the frog work Narco!

I have been to ask my neighbour if he'll take the divan base, then I am done. Neighbour has works van and if he's at the base near Rowsley he will take, as tip is next door.
I have also stripped DS's bed and remade it. I have found that the duvet rolling cover-swapping method works! So I am not hot and bothered.

    Evening all

A great time was had by all last night, with over £2000 raised for charity. DH allegedly emailed me a photo off his phone this morning, but I still haven't received it so can't show you how well we scrubbed up.

Thinking of Bossy and family today x

Thanks for the message, Kaz. I miss her too.

Well done HB, Narc0, Valli and all the rest of you who have been decluttering so spectacularly.

:xmassmile A quick reminder that the Flylady Secret Santa list officially closes today - but you have 24 hours' grace if you have only just spotted this message, as I shall not have time to send out the details for a day or two. Hi, thanks for messages, much appreciated. We've done ok today. Went out to Sunday lunch with his parents, nice chatter, nice food and no washing up :) not sure how DS ended up with chicken nuggets and Yorkshire Puddings though... Spent a good few hours with them, just being, which was good. We seem so rushed all the time these days. Also split the Xmas dinner list between me and MIL so we don't both buy the same things! I'm in charge of gammon and veg :)

Not been home long so quick bit of toast for kiddies, supper for piggies while they sat on kids knees so I could clean the cage out. All cosy again.

That's it for tonight, I'm having a decaf coffee and going to pop some flu max tablets I think. Bah.

  • Hi all

Some home admin/paperwork done, spreadsheets updated, football (DS2) watched, some clean washing sorted, a quick-wash done and put over the airer. Lasagne for tea made with spag bol out of freezer. House is reasonably OK but I do need to try and keep on top of things this week.

Glad your day wasnt too bad Bossy.

Oooh, I have an i10 too - but no bistro table so can't really help with that :rotfl:
