I'm thinking of you too Bossy xxx

No significant flying to report and off to Sussex later, so I doubt much will get done.
  • Iona - I hope you had a wonderful time xx
Big hugs to you Bossy xx

WM on, DW unloaded, raining heavily here. Stressing about money as this dratted invoice, oh well, better gird my loins for the week ahead and put my big girl pants on.

Until then, more tea needed x

Just took inspiration from Wit and have sorted out my cookbooks. There's a pile now for DD or the CS, and also a 'kitchen magic'. Am I the only flylady who buys kitchen gadgets and never uses them?

  • Thinking of you today Bossy and master and missy bossy x

Just seen the forecast - always think of Dizzy when flooding is mentioned. Looks like DH might be at home tomorrow so need to leave him some jobs! Washing over the airer again.

Just doing a bit of work on my finances, going to try and chill out a bit today as it is going to be another busy week. Must do the mealplan.

Kaz thanks for the update. I miss her.

    Good to know. :o

All good wishes for the moo clan today. x

Wanna laugh? I am typing this one-handed as t'other hand is needed to prevent a whippet-x-lurcher from falling off my lap. Think Labrador-sized, black with a white "shirt front" and you get the picture. :D

Love the picture you just painted, Lamewolf.

Hugs and thoughts for the Moo family. We'll light a candle tonight.

 to all those who used to contribute to the thread who are busy doing other things. You are all missed.

No. I bought a rather good slicer which I only seem to use when I do a ham. It takes up quite a bit of valuable space too, and we only have a ham once or twice a year.

The thought of the new 'fridge/freezer kept me awake until 4.30 this morning, when I logged on to the company's website, found its dimensions, found something that's roughly the same size and tried to manoevre it around the corner it needs to go round. Oh whoops. Read about seven pages of reviews of the fridge/freezer and one helpful person said he'd arranged in advance to have the doors taken off his or they'd never have got it into the space. Trawled through the company's website and found how to do that and as soon as I woke up this morning I knew I had to find a phone number to buy the extra service for delivery tomorrow. *mwah* to helpful, obliging customer service staff who sorted it all out for me at a price that is well worth paying. *relief*

OH and I have dismantled the dresser in the kitchen and taken the top part up to my room of doom, and we've emptied the rest of it so that we can shift and shove it into its temporary home. I'm cleaning around where it was for eight years, getting it ready to be reloaded.

Then I'll work on rest of the space needed to put the new beast when it arrived. Lodgers chatted to while they ate a very late breakfast after much needed lie-ins, and three dining room chairs sold to a lovely young couple so one gumtwig advert can be deleted while I wait for appoaches on the rest of the stuff. Two other items will definitely go tomorrow because loads of people want them so it's all going better than I could have ever dared hope. My office looks as though I've only just moved in, though.

Oh, and an attic foray to find the little heater for the neighbours whose leaky boiler is deceased.
    Better is good enough.

HB, you've been really busy. I need to get rid of stuff we're not using as in the new year, we're having new kitchen and both bathrooms completely redone.

I have properly hoovered/swept/mopped through the house. Done some more exercise including walking the dogs and had an early lunch. Recycling is already out ready for collection tomorrow.

DD still not here. Want to wrap some Christmas presents but don't want her walking in on me so I'll have to find something else to do.

Did you know you can get a single mattress in the back of a Fiesta IF you fold it in three and bind it with parcel tape. And stand on it to force it to fold.

I have been to the tip.
