I meant to post earlier this week and it slipped my mind - while Mr LW was mithering about on t'internet the other day, he came across some weird scientific study that has concluded that rats laugh when they're tickled. But only if they're in a good mood to begin with.

Unfortunately I didn't think to ask him for the URL, but I thought you'd be interested in a little bit of ratty trivia. :o

    LW, that's made me smile.

    So I have:
Caught up with a programme recorded earlier in the week
    Had lunch and WUDUPA
Walked the dogs again and groomed them
    Cleaned the kitchen window
Done a quick hoover through the house

Oh pooh lost a post following a power cut.
    I've done lots.
    Kitchen good even washed floor.
    1 report finished and checked.
Big inroads to the dreaded frog i.e. the 3 shelves I'm trying to make space on by reviewing and pruning 37 files. Now have one shelf half empty and about 10 more files to review.

Going to start my evening now, feeding me and the dogs first. I have done lots this afternoon including sorting old make-up for a friend's grandchildren to play with, sorting DH's underwear drawer, cleaned the microwave, sort of tidied my desk, washed out the kitchen compost bin, painted my nails, done some puzzles and forty minutes jumping on the trampoline.

    See you all tomorrow.

  • Mostly been tidying up vs actually cleaning this week thanks to the cold that just wont go away. Today however I have really gone to town in the kitchen, cleaned the windows and ornaments, packed away cookbooks so only the ones we use are out on the counter and I have vacuumed. Feeling better for doing it! Fingers crossed next week will be a lot better
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

    Enjoy your evening, Iona xx

Love that about ratties lol, my piggies haven't seen the funny side of anything yet, but girl pig shouted at me today. She must have heard the bag of spinach rustling, reared up on her hind legs and "wheeeek, wheeeek, gimme the green stuff, wheeeek" lol, funny as...

Had a quiet afternoon, bit of homework, but of tv with the kids, bit of pottering.

Have now lit a candle, it's the eve of you-know-what but we're in good spirits here. Not going to get all maudlin.

So, watching the dancing, having a baileys, chillin out :)

I had heard this from one of the ratty groups on FB, but thanks so much for thinking of me xx

Sorry I've not been posting much - not managing much flying so nothing really to report :o

Sending hugs, condolences, congrats, sticks and spoons as necessary xx

Morning all. Hugs for Bossy today and anyone else who needs them. Hope no one is too badly affected by the storm down south.

Today will be another pottering day for me, although DD and her fiance are coming round later to hang out with the dogs (not me!).

    Have a great day everyone.
