Mine's always been on the third or fourth Tue of Nov, so I reckon it'll be 22nd this year.0

Got letter ,nothing in bank yet. Last year money turned up first0

Not got mine yet - and wondering when it's due (ie because a friend has had hers).
This will be the first year I get mine - so not sure what the procedure is. I presume it's just a case of check my bank statements until I see it's there (ie check this months, next months if need be and hope I don't have to wait for the January one to see it show up at last).
Do people get a letter about it as well?0

There's always a letter and you shouldn't still be waiting in January.
I always buy myself a Christmas present with it; a new chain saw this year, but I shall have to match their money £ for £.0

Don't let the boomer bashers here you say that. :rotfl: they will rant and rave that it should be used for fuel not spent on toys!!0

Err, toys? I have 200m of roadside trees to cut, and no great desire to maim myself whilst struggling among them with a traditional machine, so I'm going for one of the latest 12" battery-powered jobbies.lessonlearned wrote: »Don't let the boomer bashers here you say that. :rotfl: they will rant and rave that it should be used for fuel not spent on toys!!
Not cheap though, even if I lose the VAT. About £400. About £400.
But I will get > £400 worth of firewood, so in my book that's a pretty sound investment. 0 0

With all that firewood you clearly don't need WFA 😉0
