    Am I missing something?

no but you can smell bovine pressence !

ask the BPA permission to contact POPLa to locate the POPLa code issued at the point of refusal

according to POPLa anual report autosecurity have issuecd 9 POPLa codes , all have been defended (and actually lost) , none are outstanding , so where is your POPLa code?

it appears as though the operator have rejected your appeal

Reply again, including David Dunford again:

    Dear Jxxxx, *

Kindly check and show me the proof. I am not interested in your assumptions of what 'appears' to be the case without the BPA even lifting a finger to check. This is not an example of 'putting the motorist at the heart of our thinking' as trumpeted by the BPA a while back.

Would you like me to forward this entire exchange to Marcus Jones at the DCLG?

    Yours faithfully,

    * bet I am right this fob-off merchant is a woman whose name starts with 'J'??

POPLa code number , is proof of reply or not , 9n issued 2016 , all accounted for

so they must be told to state the POPLa code they issued , or be sanctioned as they have stated that they replied

even if they state a number , this number would have to be registered within a 35 day (less postal times) window ,

PS , autosec had 9 cases at POPLa , all went in the consumers favour , not in autosecuity/autosec/autosec24 s favour

PS , who is autosec 24?

Thanks again for all these helpful posts. I will save some shots for later use if/when necessary. For now, I simply asked AOS to stop dragging their feet & to provide proof that Autosec really had sent an Appeal rejection etc in response to my 'Blue letter".
    They replied:
"..We have contacted the operator to request further information and once received we shall be in touch.
Thank you for your patience whilst this is being looked into."

    Everything copied to David Dunford.
(Not sure about Autosec 24 in that PS)
    Will keep you posted.

2 weeks after contacting them, good news today in an email from AOS:
"We have contacted the operator who has informed us that there has been an error when processing your Parking Charge notice, and as you did not receive an appeal within the relevant timescale, the operator has agreed to cancel your parking charge notice on this occasion. The operator has contacted TNC to ensure that they are aware that this charge should no longer be pursued. No further action is required from yourself."
Thanks once again for the very helpful and very effective advice!
  • and as you did not receive an appeal within the relevant timescale,

    ??????????????????????????????

no , you did not receive a REPLY or a POPLa code

    because they never issued one!

now ask the BPA what sanctions they are going to impose ?
  • Well done. Have sent my complaint today about exactly same two company's and same problems to BPA and DVLA.

Are you are going to take things further ?..I intend to
