Have never drunk it and never will, so won't be participating in this stocking up malarky.

When my late brother was alive I used to have to post him in padded envelopes Tesco's red label tea bags to his home in France as he said the tea bags out there were awful. being an ten cup a day englishman he was not happy to drink the weak insipid stuff that passed for tea out there.Myself I will drink anything that's on offer. I have a small tea pot I bought at a potteries in Staffordshire this year when on holiday up there and its great, and a tea bag in the heated pot left to 'steep' until the required colour is achieved, then poured into my china cup(hate mugs, horrible things ) a little milk added (I always put the milk in last) and feet up with a good book and a couple of HM 'melting moments biscuits is my idea of heaven. out there.Myself I will drink anything that's on offer. There's one opened up recently here in Concrete Cow Country; we went in out of curiosity, and swiftly exited again when we saw their prices. We're both retired now, and although we're not scraping for pennies at the end of the month, I still need to watch the budget.;)Don't know if you have T2 in the UK but for interesting teas they're worth searching out.
We have a couple of those; Mr LW used to keep one at work for his Earl Grey before he retired, and there's a second one which has always been kept at home for when he wants a cuppa and I don't.I've got a little tong infuser thing - just tap the tea leaves into the compost bin, no need to put them anywhere near the sink. :-)
Our teapot has one of those inserts in that you put the leaves in so that it strains it for you - like the infuser tong thingy, easy to tip out into the compost caddy.:o
Just as an aside, I have a slice of lemon in my tea, in preference to milk. Mr LW has milk in breakfast tea, and switches between milk and lemon with Earl Grey. He can also happily drink Earl Grey "as nature intended" (as can I) which is why he used it at work. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

I caught up with the first episode of Dark Angel last night.
If you think I'm going to switch to loose leaf made by A.N. Other after that, you must be bonkers...Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I've covered various bets with a stash of coop bags & a jaunt around Chinatown, picking out loose leaf teas which seem like an interesting idea. Oolong, jasmine, gunpowder, puer & a couple of green & white teas (because I liked the boxes).
To my surprise, a week drinking an awful lot of plain water not only tasted passable (we were all cottonmouthed nervous anyway) but also improved my skin, so I'm now trying to drink more water without tea in it.
On the colder mornings, that is Not going well, but in the overheated office, it's easier..0

I'm a loose leaf Chai tea drinker! Sadly I cannot help much as I like to try new brands all the time and don't particularly stay with anything. I think that if your happy with your normal tea to just stockpile some of them, that way you won't be drinking tea you don't like just because you stockpiled!
Though I do have one small box of Yorkshire Tea for when the world ends and I desperately need a cuppa before I decide on what to do next lol!Little Frugal Cottage x

Ok, stashing programme started, in small steps. Today I bought a 250g of sainsbobs red loose, works out at 56p/100g and 250g of marks gold, works out at 80p/100g. Will try the both of them and see if I taste the difference, if not I will stock up on the lower priced one, but if the gold (supposedly superior) one is distinctly better, I will go for that.
With regard to drinking more water, DFV, I often drink hot water with a couple of slices of ginger and a sliver of lemon, can top these up a few times before they lose their flavour. Mostly in the evening, if I don't fancy camomile. It makes a lovely, light and comforting drink, and if you like it sweeter a tiny bit of honey should do the trick. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

I generally only drink Green tea but if I am choosing I would buy Yorkshire tea....
Have you seen those great big bags of Yorkshire teabags, they are I think called "2 cup bags" (be careful though as they do a similar bag with the standard bags) I assume better and stronger if you making a pot of tea for 2, only having to use the one bag.Sunshine0
