What about stocking up on Yorkshire tea when it's on offer? I noticed we had it today, when I decanted from a box into my glass canister, but I don't buy specific brands, just what's at a good price. I can't remember where I bought this but it says 50% extra tea-bags free, so it must have been a good buy at the time.0

I cut tea bags open and use them as loose tea - I find I get more flavour that way, and there never seem to be special offers on loose tea itself.0

My teapots have infusers in the top; all I do when it's drained is empty it in the bin.VfM4meplse wrote: »The issue I have with loose tea is the mess
My 'tea' of choice these days is rooibos, though sometimes fruit teas also.0 -

We buy ours once a year now from amazon. I get the 1200 1 cup yorkshire bags and it is about £19 with free delivery.
If you make it by the pot, you can get 3 good strong cups from one bag.
It wouldn't be economical if made per cup with one bag at a time.
If you use amazons repeat ordering thing, its about £1 cheaper . I tried that the first year but you have to keep going back and advancing the date of next order to only get it once a year so to me it was worth the extra £1 to not have to keep remembering to do it.
Previously we just bought loose tea wherever there was the best offer on .0 -
Yorkshire tea do a loose leaf, its been on offer in asda recently, two 250g bags for 6 quid My husband says it's better than the tea bags.
I've made some reuseable teabags from a Liz Earle muslin cloth ds2 kindly brought home from the craft box at school ('Here you are mummy, now you can wash your face')
DH just puts a teaspoon of tea in the teabag for one cup.
Then when the teabag cools we just empty it out into the compost and give it a rinse0 -
