Stolen barclaycard £1400 - help!

I can find articles online that relate to Fallen Angels, Lowestoft, in 2014.
Were you with your other half on the evening of 30th December 2015 and the early hours of the following morning?
If the answer is "no" then you are being naive.
It's highly unlikely he's cheated physically in such a place, but his eyes probably had a great time.0 -
And someone mentioned you can communicate with barclaycard via writing? How do we do this please as this would be extremely helpful. I meant he has had to use hours of holiday as only gets a 30 minute lunch break and works Monday to Friday (opening times of the bank!) they always keep him on hold for at least 30 minutes and never call back when they say they will do the hours have racked up that the phone calls have gone over his 30 minutes and so has had to have it signed off as holiday!0

If you enter "e a promotions lowestoft" into Google's search bar, then the first result returned is Fallen Angels lap dancing club. If you then go to their website and scroll to the bottom of the home page, you'll see that they have been trading since 2013, so definitely in existence on 30/12/15. Apologies if that confused you, I was merely hypothesising about the limited company registration.
You haven't answered yet whether you were with your husband on the evening of 30/12/15 and if you remember what you were doing. If you could just answer that, for example "I was with him all evening, we were round at MIL for dinner" then the possible theft of the card is likely to be taken far more seriously by us fellow forum members. Because at the moment it looks like (1) you weren't with him and (2) other than taking his word, you don't know that he wasn't at Fallen Angels.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Nothing above conforms to what would have been expected in such cases. Of course they can tell if the transaction was chip/pin or signature (signature in the UK on 31st Dec 2015 highly unlikely by the way). Of course they know where the card was used and so do you because if you have been paying interest on these transactions for a year as you say then they must have appeared on a statement and therefore you can see who the merchant was.
So what happened during the 'months and months' of hounding the bank. What did they actually say? Have you actually disputed the transactions? What was the actual final response given for rejecting the dispute?
I am actually quite curious as to what could have been purchased late at night on New Year's Eve in Lowestoft which cost £1400 .... Some expensive champagne in a nightclub to see in the new year perhaps?

I was quite proud of my restraint in posting innuendo and double entendres when replying.0 -
I see this scenario
1) blind drunk with mates
2) ends up in Lowestoft in said club
3) wakes up next morning with banging headache and finds pockets stuffed with receipts for £250 bottles of "champagne" and private dances
4) too embarrassed to admit to girlfriend so makes up story that the card was stolen , possibly compounding lie by actually reporting to Barclaycard
Barclaycard know pin was used , also fraud team using software during calls that indicates that he is lyingEx forum ambassador

It's a common scenario.
I assume he lives in Norfolk/Suffolk too, or was visiting at the time.0 -
