A good, well balanced comment, but factor in the risk of missing an important call (family, doctors, etc.) or not having reliable data when you need it... nothing more frustrating!brookhouse said:I have to say Smarty is starting to look very attractive. They have WiFi calling, voLTE and are claiming to be bringing in 5G.
Roaming appears safe for now.
Rolling monthly contract and decent data allowances.
Not sure any other MVNOs can match that.
My only concern is the reliability of the Three coverage.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -
I've been with EE for years and signal has been good for me but I'm always on the lookout for better value. WiFi calling has kept me with EE for the reason you point out.jnm21 said:

I'll try a Three PAYG SIM in the places I need to be before switching.1 -

No matter how good a deal looks, it's worth nothing without a good connection. I always check coverage (Three is absolutely useless here) first and foremost. Don't even bother looking at deals which use carriers that are useless to you.brookhouse said:I have to say Smarty is starting to look very attractive. Couldn’t agree more. Moved my wife’s number from EE to smarty for being cheaper option without a long contract but three’s coverage has been absolutely nightmare and I live in London. Hardly any signal indoors and can’t get data speed over 1 mb. Looking to switch again and looking at non-three based options. I do have my own number on EE and won’t be switching that even tough my contract ends in a month.JSmithy45AD said:

After spending so much time online and calls, finally gave up and signed a 24 months Sim deal with EE for £20 a month for 160 gb. I know it’s hardly the most money saving deal but couldn’t think of any other option to get BT sports which cost less than that. I have also used Uswitch offer to buy a £10 a month sim with 10 gb data for my wife and also asked them to upgrade my BT sports to big screen for extra £5 a month so total £35 a month for two sims with 170 gb data(way more than we both need) but also BT sports on TV while BT sports month pass alone costs £25 a month. I may look back at this with regret if DAZN end up buying BT sports and introduce more affordable sports subscription but least EE has top coverage in our area.0

Has anyone bought the O2 £6 for 6gb with 3 months Disney+? I've just done it and had no email about Disney+ other than 1 month if it's done as a bolt-on.0

Where was that from? On uswitch I see the £6 for 6gb doesn’t mention about Disney. It does on the £8 for 15gbFusty_2 said:Has anyone bought the O2 £6 for 6gb with 3 months Disney+? I've just done it and had no email about Disney+ other than 1 month if it's done as a bolt-on.0 -
For the last 3 years I have had a red entertainment package from Vodafone. I'm due to be out of contract in January. I opt for Spotify with the entertainment package with it comes with 20GB data. A new contract with cash back will cost me £16/month through mobiles.co.uk. Can anyone better that?0

Why has no-one mentioned SMARTY?. Their no-contract deal is £10 a month for 30GB and unlimited text and calls. No contract so leave when you like. keep your number, fast and efficient transfer, keep using your old supplier/number until the transfer time, and a free month for both if you introduce someone. Beat that!0
