Oh my, what a story, dinglefoot!! You'd barely believe things such as that could happen to a baby that young!!!!! I suppose it's little wonder it had such an impact on your health. Still all's well thank goodness. After all that I think you can be forgiven for your wild spend up, and as you say.....it'll all be needed sometime soon!!;) BTW, a shiny gold star for you for that lovely welcome! Thank you :staradmin
A very good afteroon Sealed Potters! I hope you're all keeping warm and so very safe as you get ready for the weekend! ;) To all our members who are poorly or down in any way, take great care and let these {{{{hugs}}}} help you feel much better soon. :grinheart

YAY jakes-mum! You've done it!!!! :j:jInstead of worrying yourself silly from here on, tell yourself it's perfect for the 4 of you sit back and relax and look forward to it all. :D
Oooh your poor DD, ingrown toenails are horrible and terribly painful. I had to have both my large toenails cut off down the sides, very successful too. Until you get to see the Podiatrist use the blunt side of scissors to gently scrape down on the nail so it forces it out at the side.

    Very well done donkids22!

Good potting 32b3, and I hope you had a lovely trip yesterday. I know you're happy to be enjoying the weekend! :D

Dizzy Imp that's fantastic potting!!!!!! :j:j:jI'm so pleased the girls are doing all they can in the fight to save!!! pook pook pook :o

Whatever you pot HAS to be good, Louby, it'll all add up as the year goes on!

Your pot must be getting heavier and healthier too, MLE007, well saved!!

I quite agree with you, MrsShazbat, banks behave in such a petty way, after all money is money in any shape or form!! Great savings btw.

Good for you Lynne, a tenner is always a great sum! You have a lovely weekend also.

Don't worry too much about your ramblings, HoneyBee83, we've a few more who tend to waffle now and then, usually for a good reason though. If it helps you then ramble on. :D

Well, that's the first Christmas present bought ready for next year! A 70% reduction in Bo!ts made me very happy indeed with the £10.50 purchase!!!! :j Another £15 for the pot after shopping too and I'm well chuffed!!!

Have lovely Saturday and a brilliant weekend, SPCers, stay warm, healthy and......potting!!! :D

    Sue xx

    Ooh, thank you Sue! :D

I think today is going to be another NSD, as I doubt I'll be going anywhere - I've got a university assignment due on Tuesday so hubby is looking after the LO today so I can work on it! (Speaking of which, I should probably stop procrastinating...once I've added my shiny new star to my sig! :D )

  • Happy Saturday afternoon everyone. It's freezing here today. Been out with DH for a coffee and cake at the local farm shop cafe. It was his treat so I will pot the £7.20 if I had paid :j

Jakes-mum if DD's toe is bleeding and sore at the moment soak it in warm salt water, the salt helps to heal the infection. I've had them for years. I've had one done at the chiropodists....made the mistake of having it done in the winter so had a dressed big toe and sandles lol. Not the most fashionable look for a twenty something lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: HTH x

Off out to our friends daughters 18th party at their house later so feel a sore head coming on tomorrow. Have a great evening everyone xx

    Happy Saturday

My dad asked me to get him something on ebay as he doesn't have an account. Dropped it round today and he gave me £16 in £2 coins. I was so excited I could hardly wait to pot them :D
  • Happy Sunday morning to all!
Even though I only tend to post once a week, I pop in everyday to catch up on the potting; it is really keeping me motivated and on track with my plans. So a big thank you to everyone.
Wow payday is taking forever to get here. £1 and a penny potted today. Plan for today is to dig out mum's old mobile phone (gave her a new one for her birthday last year) and see if it is worth recycling.
Oh well time to get up!
    Take care

    Howdy potters!

Still potting steadily but things haven't been too great for me personally... Been to the doctor and I'm being treated for depression. Having many wobbly days, but determined to carry on as much as possible.

DH keeps leaving cash hanging around and I keep potting it. I even "won" £1 yesterday at the rugby when someone hadn't returned their returnable cup (deposit: £1)... so I made the most of it. Finders keepers and all that!:T

Quiet Sunday today - only popped to the corner shop for milk, so not much spending. Potted £1.50 from the change.

Cold day today, so hope everyone is keeping warm and cosy :)
