I can understand you wanting your DD's toe to look that bad that the Podiatrist will swing into action, jakes-mum, he/she may well do an in between job for now to alleviate things for her. Our DS didn't let DH & I know just how bad his was as he desperately wanted to go on the Ten Tors walking weekend on Dartmoor about 20 years ago!!! His Colour Sergeant was forced to bring him home as his toe was in a heck of a state! All the infection had to be cleared up before it was operated on! What a dork, he had a load of tongue pie from his Dad & I!! An excellent amount potted!!!

Good news Sue, shes on the waiting list to have the nail cut on both sides (only right toe so we only have to deal with the injection once). He said if we've been having no luck for the last 2 1/2 months and had tried everything from salt water, to antibiotics, to lifting the nail, it wasnt worth messing with anymore and we might as well just get rid.
She's really not going to be happy about the injection though, I've already had to promise her an icecream

£2 coin potted today after selling DD's lego friends toy thingy and she got one in payment so swapped it with me, also a bit of silver for the big pot :D

Well I'm pleased the op is going ahead for her, jakes-mum, but that injection is very painful indeed, so be prepared and have something there for her to clench. :( She'll certainly deserve that ice cream bless her. :D Good potting too!

That's brilliant saving, MLE007! We're not always able to save every day so you did well!

    Have a lovely weekend Sue.

I'm going wedding dress shopping tomorrow with dd3, possibly looking and trying onrather than buying but all good fun, especially as I'm going with all three of my girls as the other two are bridesmaids.

Hey Lovelies, hope you're all enjoying your weekend so far.

I promised I'd post more this year, so this is me checking in with my resolution.

Having a really rubbish start to this year, as my wonderful mum passed away suddenly, a couple of weeks before Christmas. It still doesn't seem real, and I still can't accept the situation. I have her handbag sitting on a door handle next to my bag, and have been through it several times to find cards, driving license etc to cancel, and know that she has some loose change in there. If she was here, she'd put the change in my 'sealed pot' ready for Christmas, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Anyhow, will keep potting my end of week 'leftovers' for now, which this week added up to £10.63

Well done to everyone, keep up the potting, and hope you all have a fantastic weekend,

    Cinders x
