Another 1.52 in my pot. Hope I can keep this up putting in small amounts as I know they will add up to something big at their end.

    Howdy potters!

Still potting steadily but things haven't been too great for me personally... Been to the doctor and I'm being treated for depression. Having many wobbly days, but determined to carry on as much as possible.

DH keeps leaving cash hanging around and I keep potting it. I even "won" £1 yesterday at the rugby when someone hadn't returned their returnable cup (deposit: £1)... so I made the most of it. Finders keepers and all that!:T

I'm so very sorry to learn about your depression, Vicky, you always come across as being so bubbly but I know the monitor so often hides the true person behind it. :) Take great care and use your darling hubby to confide in, as it never pays to bottle it, then......pick up all the cash he leaves!! :rotfl: Thinking of you and sending up a prayer. :grinheart Great work with that £1!!!!

£1.50 isn't bad, Dragon Lily, especially on a really cold day! Keep warm!

You mightn't have posted on Saturday, 32b3, but that was a good whack in the pot anyway. We don't always get the chance or the time to come to the thread, don't worry though as....we have to live!

Be proud of all you're able to pot, donkids22. Keep it up as best you can as it all makes a huge difference at the end of the year!

Have lovely Monday, SPCers, stay warm, healthy and......potting!!! :D

    Welcome olliedoll92 :)

My assignment is done (yay!) and I've had two NSDs (yay but boo, as no potting!)

Today I took my LO to the clinic to be weighed. "Can I be bothered to walk up that massive hill in this freezing cold weather? Nope! :D " I thought to myself, at that point spotting the bus and legging it to the bus stop.

£3.55 potted from the change I got from my plastic fiver.

I walked back, I don't mind walking down hills :)

    Afternoon Pottersssssssssssssssss

Thank you Sue and Mumto3 :D DD has her podiatrists appointment tomorrow so i'm secretly hoping her toe will look so awful they will just refer her rather than tell me to try the NHS Direct stuff again (it's been 3 months! it hasnt worked yet, its very unlikely to work cos a different medical professional tells me to try again!) Bless her, she rarely moans about it despite how swollen, sore and bl00dy it looks, only squeals when she accidently knocks it :(

Potted another £2 coin today :D am in a right quandry, now that DD is earning pocket money I cant pot my change cos I need it for her :rotfl: I must have £15 of change in my purse! :rotfl: She is not helping my poor pot at all!

You've already had some wise words from Sue which I must largely echo. I'm by no means an expert but I do believe talking about depression/confiding in someone can help massively. I had a big mental wobble early last year and got great benefit from talking it through with someone who had been through a full breakdown. The stigma that used to be attached to it is much less than it used to be.

Been potting steadily a few quid here and there.

Potted a bit of loose change at the weekend, have a lot of change in my purse but as it is my only money until payday (thankfully on friday) I will be keeping hold of it until then, but come Thursday evening when I get back from football whatever is left is all going in. :)
