    Hello everyone I am back.
I am going to start my jar again from today as most of the change I had in my jar was from last year and i haven't had anytime to bank it but I just totalled it up a few minutes ago, ready to take tomorrow to put into my bank.

    Today I am potting £7.00 !

Afternoon all Sealed Potters! I hope you all had a lovely weekend Monday too. Pot all you can, and remember......pence soon become pounds!!!! ;) To all our members who are poorly or down in any way, take great care and let these {{{{hugs}}}} help you feel much better soon. :grinheart
Thanks a lot 32b3, not bad for fairly after Christmas eh. I see you're off to a brilliant start too! Your time off seems to have been short-lived, ah well look forward to the weekend. :j

Well there you are, 166million, many varied ways in which it is possible to save cash, or how you can make it happen! It's always possible. Many of us pay by cards and even though it's limiting you need to look beyond for ways to still save a good amount. Why not draw so much out of the bank each week or month to shop that way....and save! It's amazing just how much more addictive potting is with all the excitement of SPC and knowing we're all doing the same!

Poor you jakes-mum, still, you're doing amazingly well with your tick list so have plenty of time yet to get the accommodation. Do remember though, someone has to be brave enough to try places out or you'd never have reviews given; also not everyone bothers reviewing i.e. too busy or working or looking after kiddies and so forth. Time will see you getting sorted, for now......be patient. :rotfl: I know it's not in your make up, but give it a try and stop stressing!! Well done with the £5er btw.

I take it you've got yourself a Terramundi pot then, Kim 13, they're ideal for saving. Using a knife is perfect when it comes to counting it up, though you'll be needing tweezers to retrieve any notes so I'd be a bit wary of putting them in there!! :D

Well done tatabubbly, I know it isn't a great deal but anything potted adds up as you get similar amounts.

So good to see you keeping an eye out for any roadkill, parksandrec, well done you! :D

Don't be enticed into buying too things you mightn't need in order to save unless you can really afford to, MrsShazbat. I'd agree that it's a good idea to save other denominations though which most of us do.

You did well in getting that lot from your filter, Lost, I never get any cash from mine......possibly because I'm forever checking his pockets!! ;)

Ooops! I see your problem, Rancid, still so long as you're able to get by with all your bills and so forth it'll give you a fantastic amount to look forward to come December! Don't forget that all Christmas savings club cash can also be included here on SPC!! :j

£45 potted here yesterday; a debt owed was repaid, one I was not expecting, so in that went! I'm going to try and do the penny challenge as part of this as well. The key is going to be making sure DH doesn't pinch from the pot if he gets a bit short..

An excellent way to save by putting a repaid debt in your pot, stepuptothepl8!! There's one sure way to make sure your DH doesn't get to your pot - HIDE IT FROM HIM!!!!!! BTW, did you know you haven't declared your SPC 9 savings yet??!!!! :naughty: So, if you could pop over to SPC 9 asap I'd be very grateful.

I'm thrilled to hear that potting those 2 fivers helped lift your mood, 12 month challenge, keep on thinking of the end result to keep you on your toes from now on! ;)

It's good to see you back again too, Miss D M. You save as is best for you, just as we all do! So long as you save then that's all that matters! :D

Well done with the £1 and a nicely spotted 5p
, little_sweetie!!! I hope you and G are staying free from colds, I'm afraid T & I aren't able to and I've now managed to refresh mine! :(

Get you indeed, mumof3plusoh! Excellent news which you really sound as though you're determined to stick to!! Go on you'll be delighted you did. :jDon't forget that at the end of the year the 1p challenge can also be included here on SPC.

    Brilliant saving donkids22!! :j

So long as you're saving Bubbs we'll forgive you for not visiting so often. However, don't forget us! :naughty:

You sort out when's best to declare for you, Onmyway2, but 2 weeks earlier is fine by me. Fingers crossed that you're able to keep your job safe! :D

    Good to hear, Florence!

Not long to wait until pay day now, Louby, meanwhile keep up the hunting as it's paying off!

Don't worry HoneyBee83, [STRIKE](uh oh, we've got a right one here folks!)[/STRIKE] I've ignored your ramblings as you told me to. You save as is best for you as I'm sure you're a law unto yourself :rotfl:- just don't forget to declare it once you're sorted!

Good potting again Chutney, especially as January is never the best of months.

A gold star for your kindness, thank you, mrs-moneypenny. :staradminYes, I see no reason why your OT money can't be included in your SPC savings, after all we allow those with PT jobs to do so and to my mind there's little difference between the two. So off you go and good luck! :D

It's really good to see you over here again, Thora! Let's hope you're determined to do great things this time around, because you can IF you try! Go on get carrind away with it!!!!! :j

Have a lovely day, SPCers, stay safe, healthy and potting!!! :j

Morning all - husband left nearly €2 on the side board so I did him the courtesy of putting it in my pot :D

Trying to plan out my spends for weekend - think we will go to a farmers market for our fruit and veggies and see if it's any cheaper. Other than that - I've my shopping list done with bits I've needed to get during the week.

£7.54 potted - change from the last few days of going to the shops.

I didn't want to pot it until today because I needed to have enough change for the hospital car park in London for my LO's post-operation check up.

I was very excited - amongst the change was a very shiny 2016 Mrs Tiggywinkle 50p :D I loved Beatrix Potter characters when I was a child and she was my favourite :)
