Oh poor you Sue-UU, you must have been freezing  I hope it's working now.

It's been a quiet potting week. I called at the supermarket on the way to work and came out with a few pounds in change, however, there was a guy selling the Big Issue in the entrance so rather than put it in my pot, I gave it to him. I'm sure I'll have something for my pot over the weekend instead.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, keep warm

Hello Potters! Not quite so bitter today, but even so I hope you're all keeping really warm and generally looking after yourselves in this bitter weather!! Think about the WEEKEND that will at least keep you warmer on the inside! Take care all those members who are poorly or feeling low, I've some of these {{{{hugs}}}} that I'm hoping will make you feel at least some bit better. Stay warm and drink plenty of fluids!

I kind of guessed you would have stuck with us, 12 month challenge but it's good that you just confirming it completely, thanks a lot! ;)

Well done parksandrec, your Total's going to be mounting up fast with the way you're potting!
£2 potted today. Potting was a bit scarce last week due to it being the week before payday, so money has been tight.
    Hope everyone's well.

It's good to see you more regularly, ETO. :D Don't worry about the more lean times as we all have those and especially at this time of year!! Give your little darlings a hug from me, please. :A
    :A

I see you really are determined to get a good year in '16, indigowarrior! It's lovely to see folk so motivated. :D

Hi siju, YES thank you!! :j Thankfully they worked! A call-out guy was asked to check it out(after 4 electricians...really?!!) and finally arrived at 8pm! He wasn't totally convinced about what was wrong but tried a new meter saying, "see if that does the trick". What a relief to find some warmth in the house this morning, it wasn't great but then the bricks that go inside were freezing when they brought them in Wednesday, so all being well tomorrow should be a lot better still!! Yesterday reminded me of years ago when it was bitter and there was cold linoleum on the floors!!!!! :eek:Oh "the good old days" they say! Yes, in some ways it's true but not for everything!! ;)

I see you too are a bit of a softie for the big issue fellars, siju, not to worry you'll soon catch up with your potting. :D

Have a lovely evening, Potters, and a super weekend. Keep warm and cosy and feed those pots well!

    Helloooooooooooo Potters

Ooo Ladies, I am so excited about Disney and of course i'll squeeze you in me suitcase :D

Rather annoyed with myself today as I was trying to get my clubcard to scan at Mr T my change fell out of my purse :( I found the 50p but the £1 coin was nowhere to be seen :(

On good news, I just sold my old ceiling light for £10 AND DH went to the pub and handed me over lots of shiny silver coinage for the pot :D

I have a feeling my pots will be much lighter this year as i'll be potting all my notes instead of changing them to coins and they will be cashed in for Dollars in August, so though i'm hoping for an epic total my actual count up day in november wont be as awesome as previous years, but those are the sacrifices we have to make to fulfill a 32 year dream :o

    Evening

    Wooooohoooooo it's fridayyyyyyyyyy.

Fulfilling a 32 year old dream will be worth whatever November brings Jakes-mum. Not sure if they are still around but when I went we stayed in a villa we rented from a company called Florida dream villas. It was huge, with its own pool and was about 15 minutes from all of the Disney parks. I found that the universal theme parks were much better than the Disney ones. It's been about 20 years since I went though so things might have changed.

    £2.87 potted today.

Have a great weekend everyone. I'm going to a Christmas market near home on Sunday so I might stay in tomorrow!!!

I hope everyone is keeping well.

I must go to bed in a minute, but just a quick post to say that this morning I potted £4.56,including 2 x £2 coins.

I also have another £45 to post (extra job I did last weekend),but since I changed a £20 note of that into £1 coins, that might be a bit noisy to pot at 2 o'clock in the morning :rotfl:.

Not sure what is going on with Pinecone surveys at the moment.I pot all my Pinecone money.Usually I get anywhere from 1 to 3 surveys a month.Since SPC10 started,I have had 7 surveys .(So have earnt £21 already!).Not complaining at all.

    Good Morning Peeps :D

Thank you to everyone for your lovely words and well wishes....My Grandad's Funeral was, for want of a better word, lovely...It was a good way to celebrate his life and I think that is important....

Now it's about taking care of my Family and myself....and hoping that next Year will be a better year for all of us...

Now, onto Potting news....I've been Potting quite a bit of Silver....and the odd gold coin...no notes yet but that WILL come...but I'd rather start slowly than have to take it back out...I think that was my mistake in other Years...so this Year I'm taking it slowly until I'm sure that I can leave it in my Pot until next November....

So this morning I'm Potting the grand Total of 70p.... :D:D:D And also a lovely gold coin... :D:D:D

*Hugs* to anyone that needs them...and *Big Hugs* to Jakes_Mum for booking your Disney Flights....It's worth it, I promise you ;)

Stay warm and safe everyone... xXx :)

Here's me losing track and forgetting to pop by already! Still potting away separating all the coins into their separate jars and watching them fill. We're off on holiday again, Christmas market in Edinburgh tomorrow then out to Italy on Monday and resisting opening my main pot to free up the fifty pence, two pound coins and the notes that are already in there!

After not potting for a few days, I was able to put 4 lovely £1 coins in the pot last night, plus another 2 plastic £5 notes:beer::j:beer:

I'm so glad to hear some others of you are saving some of these as it will really boost our totals - I have over £100 worth of them as well now!:T
