Ok, I'm off to a good start this year and have half filled my £1/£2 tin already. It's definitely helped moving the tin to a prominent position even if I do end up going back downstairs at night to get my purse before bed lol. My odd sods tin is feeling quite heavy too. Happy bunny lol

Hi Potters! I hope you're all keeping really warm and generally looking after yourselves in this bitter weather!! Yesterday and today being the time ALL OUR HEATING HAD TO BE CHANGED!!!!!!!! Then this morning NONE OF THEM WORKED!!!!!!!! All to do with the E7 so they say. :( Trouble is they're not sure if they can get it going for today!!!! :( Talk about bitterly cold!! Great guys though and at least up stairs will all be finished later today and I'll be able to clean through top to bottom!!! :D

Hi mrs-moneypenny, so pleased you enjoyed yourself and the show and very well done with your savings!! Very wise words in that whatever we save, no matter how little it may seem, it still goes a big way as it's added to all savings we can add!! ;)

Excellent work Louby, you really are doing so well so stay strong and focused!! :j

WOW you're doing great, indigowarrior! Keep saving that well and you'll be delighted with your haul next November!!

I'm sure that jakes mum's suitcase will be big enough for two of us, Sue!
My Canada trip won't be until 2018, but I have to start saving at some point. The cousin lives in Edmonton, Alberta, so it's not the cheapest of Canadian cities to get to... :(

Oh alright then Vicky, I'll shove over for you....just a smidgeon mind. :( ;)Yes, it's an expensive part of Canada your cousin's picked but it'll be so worth it!! BC is where our friends are, near The Rockies! :D To be sure of getting enough cash for Canada you'll soon be needing to raid DH's pockets each time he gets home instead of waiting for him to leave it lying around; could even be fun!! :rotfl:

I'm hoping you had a great night out, 32b3, a great sum saved from it for sure!

Hi TheCatsandDogsMother! So very sorry to hear about your pop and I hope he's able to soon get much better! You do what you need to do, save hard and get uni sorted and come back when you're able, we'll be glad to see you! :D

So DS' Graduation Day finally came, siju, I can easily imagine just how proud you both were of him and all the work he's put in over the years. Well done all and congratulations!! :TIt sounds as though it was an amazing day, brilliant! So sorry you were feeling rough though but......DH to the rescue with a massive tonic, fantastic!!!! :rotfl:

Very well done muppets, your saving is going well indeed!
A very frosty day we've had here
Have potted another 2 new £5 notes today. I seem to be getting more of them and don't like to spend them. I think they will be more comfortable in my pot so in they go :D
Apart from one small prezzie I have all of our Christmas sorted. All thanks to this wonderful challenge.
No stress and no CCs :T
So determined to do the same next year Thank you Sue-UU and everyone for keeping me motivated. :A/QUOTE]

You save as many £5 notes as you wish, 12 month challenge, you'll benefit hugely as a result!! :j You having Christmas all wrapped up (excuse the pun) without stress or CCs is terrific news!! :D I'm so chuffed you attribute it to SPC and all it's members, thank you!! :D Stick with us and you'll be fine! ;)

    Very well done again Chutney!!
