Hi all SPC savers! I hope you’ve been enjoying the week, but I’ll bet you enjoy the weekend a whole lot better and why not!! I hope you’re all well and saving really well!
Any poorly Potters or members who are ill, low or down on their luck, fingers crossed you’ll all be feeling so much better soon. Hugs and love from us all to help you along the way.
Very many thanks indeed Lynne, it’s most certainly been a momentous occasion for us all! Mum and baby are very well indeed thanks and he’s already gone over the 10lbs! Amy’s hubby is totally ecstatic and found going back to work after paternity leave a real struggle!
Very well done on getting your cash up together, after all the day is so quickly going to be upon us!!!
Ooooo Sue a great grandson! yay!!! He must be squidgelicious!
Ahh was no worries to keep the thread moving, its not like its a hardship for me to keep talking :rotfl:
Erm..... What is one supposed to say in relation to you finding it easy to keep words flowing, jakes-mum. I’m sure it could be likened to a torrent of water gushing over mountains! :rotfl:
You’ve had more than your fair share of £2 coins lately btw!!
Great going with your Christmas shopping, your Mum’s cardi too, there’s definitely plenty of time to finish it for her.
Such very sweet words to Oliver, 32b3, quite touching, thank you. :kisses3:Well done with your Christmas presents! A good idea to join jakes-mum to spend time on the chatting about all things Christmassy, enjoy it.
Very many thanks Saver-upper, fingers crossed on the staying well part.
Well done with your potting, and I hope you’re thrilled to bits with all you receive from Pinecone!! :j
Thanks so very much for the congratulations, siju. So your DS is another Oliver, I really adore the name, even any shortening is quite acceptable, nice even which is just as well as even his Dad is already calling him Olly!!Going by your Son’s name it sounds as though it’s quite obviously a very wise choice!

And naughty Tesco giving me an old pound coin in my change today! They can have that back tomorrow :ROTFLMAO:
That’s right MrsShazbat - what goes round comes round!!! :rotfl:Shove it back at them!
Great work SeekingFlight!!! :jAny amount potted has to be fantastic!
After 2 or 3 weeks I potted £55 yesterday!!!!! Oh my word!
Have an amazing weekend folks. :j..... feed your pots well!!!
Sue xx

 SUE! I can NEVER have to many £2 coins  :rotfl:
Hugs to you Dreamer Helen, I am sat sniffling away with you, eyes are all streamy and horrible today. Am trying to get motivated to either sort DD's school trousers out (that shes ripped) or do the ironing, but I just can talk myself into it.
OMG 18 days!! I need more change!
DH brought me home some lovely change from the pub last night! 4 x lovely £1 coins (and a rubbishy old style one! I was not happy about that and told him he should have refused it! The pub is a bit cheeky handing them out the night before they go out of circulation), and a few silver coins that I forgot to countSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

No potting news from me,
But I will be cashing in my pot as its full of old £1 over the next week when I can get them out of the pot, I will then just swop it all over into new ones and repot, but not declaring yet...

Aww bless you Jakes-Mum....it DOES get better, today I feel so much better....it's just my throat and chest now that are a bit of a nightmare....but it WILL get better....I hope you feel LOADS better soon hun xXx
Well I managed to Pot some Silver and some Gold and a nice crisp new £10 Note today....so I'm really pleased with that!!
The Bank were really cheeky and have given me a Jersey Coin that looks very much like a 10p Coin....I'm not sure if it's legal tender but I plan on taking it back to the Bank and exchanging it for a nice 10p Coin that I can put in my Tin....My Silver Tin especially is getting nice and heavy so I'm pleased about that and love filling it up....
I'm on the Night Shift again tonight....Feeling a bit wiped out but that'll be the cold that did that!! Tomorrow I'll get just over 2 hours sleep and then off to see 3 Clients....but I might get a cheeky couple of hours sleep in the Afternoon before seeing 2 more Clients tomorrow night....It's all go go go but I rather like that actually....better for me to be busy as it keeps me motivated...
*Hugs* to anyone that needs them...
Oh and Sue, I'm so so so so sorry I forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS for your lovely new little Great Grandson...that's AWESOME news...I got to hold a 9-Week old baby the other Week and I didn't want to let her go so I can understand how you are feeling....I hope he has a happy and healthy and love-filled life...which I'm sure he will do with you around... xXx
Right...better get back to it....I'll Update next time I have something to put in my Pot... xXx0 -
