Evening Pottersssssss
Oooo glad you had fun in Somerset Siju! Couldn't agree more with how much boys eat! My DS eats 4 sandwiches, 2 bags of crisps and a half pack of biscuits while he waits for the water to boil for pasta (which he then pours half a pack of into the water! ) I seriously did not know that a human being could eat that much food before he became a teen
We were rather naughty today and had a fish and chips tea so 2 x lovely new £1 coins for the tin in my changepots getting well fed, thats what we like!

Well, there I was, thinking the board was a bit quiet and thinking every single one of you had deserted me for a holiday, and then I discover that the emails informing me of board-based action had randomly slipped into my junk mail! Obviously that situation has now been rectified and I'm glad you're all still here!
Hope all those of you on holiday or heading off soon have lovely times. I love hearing your stories of your travels and travel plans.
I raided my bro's wallet at the weekend and it turns out it's practically a breeding ground for pot money! One £20 note and a bit of shrapnel later and I had helpfully relieved him of 23 brand spanking new £1 coins! I know, what more could you want in a big sister!?
So my unsealed pot is very healthy right now. I may have to invest in an additional sealed pot as mine is feeling very heavy and full and it was an effort to squish some of my July coins in there! I will scrape together a little more shrapnel and visit that shop where things cost £1 and get my pot a little potty friend. And then I'll do my level best to fill that one up too! Wahoo!xxx

I've just updated my signature to add my £10 win on the Peoples Postcode Lottery from the Sunday draws. :jA good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

A guy I work with was emptying his pockets and threw a 1p on the floor. He looked at me as if I was crazy when I picked it up and pocketed it so I just told him "every little helps" and walked away with a smile.

Morning everyone.
All the holiday talk has me dead jealous as I have already taken mine. So I'll be eager to hear all the stories from your travels to keep me going.
Really tight month so I didn't pot anything until after payday. And then I was so eager to get the coins in the pot I didn't even count what was going in. How daring is that.
Happy August

Afternoon, potters!
I have to thank (and congratulate) those of you who have had recent wins on the Postcode Lottery. I haven't won on there yet but a little of your luck must've rubbed off on me because I got a lovely £25 from ERNIE on the Premium Bonds this month! Yay! That brings my total winnings on the PBs to £775 and I don't think I could've achieved anything like that otherwise with the interest rates the way they've been, so I'm well happy with that.
I played super annoying Cazzie today and popped into a few shops in town to buy things for like £1 and pay with £10 and £20 notes! I think my most used phrase has got to be 'Er, sorry, that's all I've got...'. TOTAL LIES, but like I'm gonna give them any of my beautiful shiny new £1 or £2 coins - no way, Pedro! I want theirs! GIVE ME ALL YOUR POT MONEY! Anyway, after my rampage, I've amassed 3 fivers, 2 £2 coins and 7 new £1s! I can practically hear my unsealed pot quivering with excitement!
Hope you've all had pleasant (if a little wet) days, found some pot money of your own, and scooped up all that roadkill waiting longingly for a nice warm pot to call home! Love, luck and sunshine to you all, my friends!xxx
