    I'm still here!! *waves*

Just potted 2 x £2s but it's slow going this year - probably one of the reasons I didn't want to keep a running total. May switch up to a shiny new fiver each week instead/as well.

Just returned from a glorious weekend in London with my bestie who has had a rubbish 12 months with her health so it was my treat for her birthday, which was actually in October but we planned it for when the weather hopefully improved ... and hit the jackpot! We walked over 40000 steps and 20 miles over Friday afternoon and all day yesterday, and showed her a lot of the sights (she hasn't been to London since she was about 5, so a lot has changed in 40 years!).

Sadly back to work tomorrow.... but it's our long Easter weekend coming up (we get Friday, Monay and Tuesday) so a couple of short working weeks ahead.... :T

Hi MrsShazbat :) Sounds like a lovely weekend, and what a wonderful generous gift for your friend who I'm sure really appreciated it. I took my best friend on a spa day today also as a birthday pressie and she's been suffering with her health too, so it was lovely to be able to treat her. It does tempt me though to turn the Emergency Fund into the Let's Have More Spa Days Fund! But I suppose if we did things like that all the time they wouldn't be such a special treat. I wouldn't mind putting that to the test though!

Well done on managing to pot - all of those coins will add up to a nice total, so keep up the good work! xxx

    Afternoon all!

My little bro owed me some money and some of it came in the form of a shiny plastic fiver, whoo-hoo! Lovely pot material!

Hope you are all getting to enjoy a little of this glorious sunshine. Makes me want to get out and search for some roadkill :D xxx

This challenge is affecting my dreams! I had a dream that I was given £2 coins to put in my pot! I was very sad to wake up and find I had none :(

    Hi 32b!

I think I am simply hell to live with (even more than usual!) when I'm owed money so paying up makes everyone's life easier! Sadly got a bit ahead of myself with the sales though - it appears I was dealing with a timewaster :( But we live in hope! I spend every spare minute comping to try and win things that I can then sell to boost the flat deposit fund, but the selling bit seems to be where it breaks down! Oh well, we can but try!

Happy potting, everyone! I'm trying not to spend too much at the mo but I have a few little things I need to get so I'm hoping for some pot-appropriate change! :) xxx

    Afternoon Potters

    GEt well soon Sue xx

Welcome back Caz, now was it Sparky that you are thinking of? He was the roadkill king

Went to get my photos done for my passport today and the bloomin machine ate my money  rang them up real stroppy like and they are sending me a cheque in the post for my £5er, was not happy at all. Went to another machine (which are very few and far between in our town!) and after much spinning of the stool, listening to a bazillion different announcements about the machine and retaking the picture 3 times I now have some passport photos! Was going to do it all online, but then found you still have to send in your old passport before they'll even look at your application so was a bit 'well if im sending them the passport, I might as well send them the bloomin application form at the same time!'

On a more positive and potworthy note, 1 x £2 coin and 4 x brand new and shiny £1 coins in the (newley named) £2 and new £1 coin tin and a tiny bit of silver shrapnel in the shrapnel tin. Still not potting coppers so its all going slow but steady
