VALM - just look at the current sephora favourites sets, the only ones i don't own are the lip one, the tokyo one and the main skincare one! also got two of the the JC Penney exclusive sets too  theres more on top too. All the non cruelty free items have made two rather generous beauty boxes for xmas for the mums so im using that as an excuse as to why it wasn't *quite* so bad a haul

Those Sephora kits are excellent value aren't they? I picked up and lip and an eye liner kit when I was over there. I've just started using the Kat Von D Trooper eyeliner as I can't find my UD one! I can do my right eye fine but then find that my left eye keeps twitching (I only line my upper lids because my eyes are too small for me line all around) and I end up with a black blob under my eye. Will keep practising. I loved being able to try the different brands of lipstick/lip gloss too.

I too am hoping to exchange on a house Saving, but it's not looking likely that we'll be in before Christmas. I was really hoping we would be as little one is so excited at the prospect of moving :(

    .

I work in conveyancing and it's a bit weird at the moment in that we have so many cases that are ready however they all seem to be in chains that aren't ready. Feels like some won't go before Christmas.

1 UU, L'oreal Hair Expertise Pure Colour Volumising Conditioner – WBA.

My mum has kindly given me M&S's beauty calendar as I am having a jaw op on the 6th so it will be lovely to open a gift each day! Lots of IN's on the way though!

    Good luck with your op.

Have caught up with the thread. My UUs have really slowed down but then I have a lot of full sized items on the go.

Just wondering how everyone is dealing with the Black Friday madness? To be fair though the offers are not that great are they?

I know there are other L'occitane fans here so just posting a heads up re: the TSV at weekend. I'm really in two minds whether to get one or not as I use/will use everything in the kit. Don't want to spend money on me now though as I have MRM's birthday next weekend (we are going to the Lake District) and of course Christmas coming up.

VALM, I’ve had a look, but there’s nothing very exciting, so it’s been easy to say no for the most part. I do have a couple of purchases though :P

Estee Lauder double wear foundation – my current Clinique one is just too dark for my current skin tone! It’s been bugging me for a couple of weeks, but I was holding out until today with instore discounts (Estee Lauder being rarely discounted). Now purchased at 10% off from House of Fraser.
I also ordered a large Nuxe oil for a xmas pressie for a friend from M&S, and got myself a Roger & Gallet scent I’ve been wanting for ages – both were half price! Won’t have it until Monday though.

There are a couple of other rarely discounted things I’ve been wanting for a while that I can get from FeelUnique with 15% off, but I’ve not bought yet…

I've mostly been doing a bit of gift shopping for others at slightly cheaper prices :)
  • A few more UU:
27.Palmolive Nourishing Delight Shower Milk Mini WMBA - nothing special but did the job!
28.Matrix Mega Sleek Conditioner Mini WMB - was given this by a hairdresser to try and it worked well, smelt nice etc but still prefer the Aussie conditioner which is cheaper.
29.Unknown shampoo mini WBA - Another shampoo that had been decanted. Think it was the T8sco version of Head and Shoulders.

I'm finally over the worst of my cold, touch wood. Am supposed to be going to a bar tonight for a friends birthday. I'll have a hot toddy before I go out and then stick to water! Not planning a late night but need to show my face. So I'm off to work out how to cover up my chapped lips, peeling nose and dehydrated skin :rotfl:
  • Hi everyone! Gah chapped lips I hear you SophieLoui! Mine are awful at the moment. I apply butts bees and they are good for maybe and hour or two then bad again.

I have some UUs to report. All samples/GWP size.

Claudalie hand cream - WNB wasn't a fan of the scent. Felt nice on but just not for me.
Bobbi brown rinse cleansing balm - WB. Loved this during the two goes I have it. It's stickier than Emma Hardie and probably a bit richer, has a gorgeous citrus smell that's similar to Emma Hardie but a bit fresher and maybe stronger if I recall correctly. Very thick gloopy balm rather than a waxy balm but I liked it for winter, might make a change for a bit.
Khiels Tumeric and some sort of seed face mask - WMB but I have loads of masks to UU as don't use them that regularly. This is meant to brighten and exfoliate. My skin did feel really soft afterwards. It seems quite a hardcore dense mask if that makes sense. Probably didn't need the very grainy seeds in it and I'm not that sure how great they are for the face but it definitely feels like it brightens and softens. You look hilarious wearing it, it's bright yellow with black dots. I looked liked some sort of custard with specs in.

How do you get samples of Clinique? The Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel has been on my wish list for a while, but I'd prefer to try before I buy.

I'm using a large GWP sample of this at the moment (I won it in a set in a Boots raffle of all places). I have also just spotted that feel unique have samples of it in their pick and mix (I've never ordered from feel unique but you can order 5 samples for £3.95 which you can then redeem off a full size purchase). Also I've had samples from
The Clinique counter before just ask them to pop a bit in a sample pot and they likely will.

Good luck! I'll let you know how I get on. Im a little bit spotty and not sure if the moisture surge is responsible or not. Shame if it is as I do love the texture of it. It is more likely to be stress and too much sugar, from all the work stress!
