Curious to see what happens on Black Friday for space nk and cult beauty but I will try to refrain because I really can't afford anything. I've been so good and not even bought my new foundation yet (still on the testers!)
Houseplant - you are doing so well on not spending! Keep it upI'm feeling very lousy too - have a cold and my skin feels so sore and rubbish. Can you give yourself 'treats' each night as opposed to spending? Paint nails one night, have a long bath the next night etc and plan it in advance so you have something to look forward to?

Thanks VALM. Good suggestion! I have another cold too so annoying! I feel shattered and demotivated to do anything so painting my nails etc feels like a huge effort but maybe once I commit to it it will make me feel better for it.0 -

Hi all! Feeling ever so slightly guilty. I have been attempting to use up a TBS hair mask that I don't get on with, a rather sad shampoo bar from lush that's gone all sludgey and a £1 ish bottle of conditioner I also don't get on with.
I'd told myself I couldn't buy more shampoo and conditioner until these had gone but I've caved. I was just sick of battling the substandard conditioners. Boots had a 3for£10 plus free pair of socks offer on Aussie miracle so I bought shampoo, conditioner and mask. I did also use a boots points coupon. So I tried to be economical.
I will endeavour to still use up the others, maybe alternating or mixing with the better stuff!0 -
thank you for your kind wishes everyone!
Sophie - my skins like yours and i get on fine with PCMC but i don't use it everyday. my oily skin is now slightly more under control since i started using oils more often instead of serums. the skin and tonic brit beauty oil has done wonders for my skin.
VALM - just look at the current sephora favourites sets, the only ones i don't own are the lip one, the tokyo one and the main skincare one! also got two of the the JC Penney exclusive sets too  theres more on top too. All the non cruelty free items have made two rather generous beauty boxes for xmas for the mums so im using that as an excuse as to why it wasn't *quite* so bad a haul0 -

I have and IN, a GA and UU!
IN Elemis PCMC like half the people on this thread! I've never tried it before and this seemed a good way to do it. First impressions: not sure. It feels nice when I put it on but it doesn't seem very moisturising. It's heavier than a serum but I'm not sure I can use it on it's own as a a moisturiser. Early days though!
GA Next Sparkle EDT. Purse size. It's a nice enough smell but there is something in it that just gives me a headache. I've had similar issues with some M&S own brand ones before.
UU Superdrug 3 in 1 Tea Tree and Lemon Shampoo. WNBA. As a shampoo it was fine but I bought it because a friend said Tea Tree is good for an itchy scalp but it didn't help.
My scalp is driving me up the wall. As far as I can tell, it's not dandruff, it's not scalp psoriasis or eczema, it's not seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap). It's just really dry and itchy. Even though I don't think it's dandruff I've tried all the different dandruff shampoos. Body Shop Ginger seemed to work for a while then stopped. I don't know what else to try. I've started taking antihistamines just to stem the itching a bit. It's been worse the last couple of months (from when I stopped taking antihistamines for hayfever) I would be so grateful for any ideas/suggestions! I read something about witch hazel. I might try that if I can get hold of some.
Hope everyone is having a good week! Mine is dragging!0
