    UU
Patisserie De Bain Cranberries & Cream Hand & Body Lotion 200ml
    - I liked this very much. It had a lovely scent, sank in quickly and really softened my skin. I still have a shower gel/bath cream from the same gift set to use up.

I have a hand cream with the lid off and a few uses left until it's all gone. I'll hopefully use up the rest of a face mask sachet and hair conditioner as well after tomorrow's shower.

My scalp is driving me up the wall. As far as I can tell, it's not dandruff, it's not scalp psoriasis or eczema, it's not seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap). It's just really dry and itchy. Even though I don't think it's dandruff I've tried all the different dandruff shampoos. Body Shop Ginger seemed to work for a while then stopped. I don't know what else to try. I've started taking antihistamines just to stem the itching a bit. It's been worse the last couple of months (from when I stopped taking antihistamines for hayfever) I would be so grateful for any ideas/suggestions! I read something about witch hazel. I might try that if I can get hold of some.

I have a sensitive scalp and I now only use shampoos which don't contain sulphates such as Sodium Laurel Sulphate. My scalp has since improved a lot. I also swear by The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo. One of its active ingredients is Salicylic Acid which is good for skin complaints.

I don't think I'll have many more UUs this month, probably just the last of one of my hand creams and a bottle of mouthwash that's nearly done.

I only have 2 days off from now until Christmas Eve at work. I'm dreading working 18 days in a row :(

Deleted_User - that sounds awful. I second the suggestion of sulphate free shampoo. Is the itching better if you don't wash your hair for a few days? If it isn't then it sounds like a problem caused by something other than products.

sstevo19 - poor you, I hope you stay fit and well for Christmas.

    I have a uu

Mitchum Advanced Control 48hr Roll on 100ml - fab, WBA but have another to replace it with for now.

  • I too am hoping to exchange on a house Saving, but it's not looking likely that we'll be in before Christmas. I was really hoping we would be as little one is so excited at the prospect of moving :(

A UU for me-a small sample pot of Clinique moisture surge moisturiser. Felt really light and gentle on my skin but my one concern is that it may be responsible for outbreaks of tiny whiteheads on my skin. I'm not sure as it could be hormones and I didn't use it everyday. I have another one in the stash so experimenting with it.

An IN aswell for me unfortunately. A blackhead facial scrub by T-Zone (from a cheapy store). Fed up with the blackheads/enlarged pores on my nose and determined to do something about it.
"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."

How do you get samples of Clinique? The Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel has been on my wish list for a while, but I'd prefer to try before I buy.

My mum has kindly given me M&S's beauty calendar as I am having a jaw op on the 6th so it will be lovely to open a gift each day! Lots of IN's on the way though!

I heard a couple of drops of tea tree oil mixed in with your shampoo is supposed to help.

I tried this when I had an itchy scalp and although it didn't sort it out completely it did help a little with the itching.

i third sulphate free shampoo! my hair has never look better and my dandruff massively improved. my hairdresser says every time she sees me that she can't believe the condition of it. i use the faith in nature ones in rotation with a few other "posher" ones like Alterna, they are pretty cheap and cheerful but work brilliantly and the lavender one is great for using if you shower just before bed.
