Also any recommendations for Hand creams for seriously dry cracked hands (which have a tendancy to split and bleed). Thanks

Have you tried more waxier hand creams, like a balm? Superdrug do a Hand Rescue balm which has helped me in the past, it's in a red tube.

From what sstevo19 has suggested this would probably be a good option. Propolis is an antiseptic and propolis cerate is good for most things. I made some with the lady who own the business below at the honey show about four years ago and have to say I'm really impressed with it, although not used for dry skin but a couple of the ladies on the course I did that day said it's even better than sudocrem

Hope everyone has a lovely day and wraps up warm.

    Couple of UUs for me

Palmolive naturals soap 90g - wnba this left my skin so dry. Given to me nearly a year ago after mil passed away as she had a hoard.
Femfreash soothing wash 250ml - wmba not sure if this is worth buying as a normal wash seems to do the same. Will not replace at present as want as few products to take with me.

Thank you all for the Hand Cream suggestions, I've currently been using the E45 Intense Recovery Hand Cream but its not helping enough and am reapplying quite a lot and tube nearly finished anyway. Hand wash wise I use Bodyshop Conditioning Hand wash (which is soap free), this is the only one that doesn't make the issue a lot lot worse. Unfortunately when I'm at work I'm stuck with some generic pink stuff. In the past even Simple had wash has caused me problems.

I think I have tried the hemp one in the past but can't remember why I stopped buying it (maybe it was the smell?). I've also had a mini of the Dr Haushka one from a beauty box a few years and loved it (not sure what condition my hands were in when I started using it though).

I will have a look at everyone's suggestions and see what is available when I go shopping tomorrow.

    Thank you all.

OH hands split and bleed every winter, we have tried lots of different hand creams, the one with the best results so far has been Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream, comes in a metal tube, has a powerful smell but really works. It's a bit pricey compared to most, but a tube lasts him the winter. I tend to stock up when on offer. I also get very dry hands in winter not quite as bad as hubby. I 2nd Stevo's recommendation of Superdrugs own hand rescue balm very good. I don't know how to describe it - but its not wet or sticky and absorbs instantly which is very helpful in my line of work.

Another vote for the BS hemp hand cream. I'd actually came on to post that I'd rolled up my 100ml tube and would only last a few more days.
WDBA as really helps my hands.
However as per usual I have servera lBS hemp hand creams. I usually get the smaller tube for my BS birthday gift ;) too
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

    One UU:

Soft & Gentle Lavender and Patchouli roll on deodorant WMBA, I used to really like this roll on, but I'm not that fussed on them any more.

Like the sound of this fragrance,

Been food shopping. Whilst in Sainsburys I have picked up a bottle of eye make up remover. It was on offer at £2.

Speaking of Patchouli, I have just UUed a Yankee Candle tart called Witches Brew. An absolute fave that I repurchase every Autumn. Have another in the stash but for now, in the living room, I'm burning Season of Peace. YC describes it as a white musk blend.

I've had a card in the post from L'Occitane offering another free gift. Think we are going to the Trafford Centre tomorrow to get some gifts from them to qualify.

Have also "ordered" a Tarte foundation from a facebooker. Went into Boots near work yesterday and was disappointed at the choice of shades and textures. Went into Superdrug and felt overwhelmed because of the 3for2 offer across all ranges. Decided I'd see if anyone on fb QVSell had a foundation because I'd have ended up spending the same amount of money to buy 3 items I didn't really need/want.

  • I have a couple of use ups!

Lush 93000 miles shower jelly - WPNBA only because I found it really hard to use once it had gotten small. It last longer than I expected it too and I did like the scent and feel of it but it's not that economical and as I say a pain when is tiny and all split.
Aurelia cleanser, one like Liz Earle. WMBA this was a freebie smallish but not sample size. Liked it and it grew on me by end of it but I tend to use balms. Would consider buying again as morning cleanse but not my favourite. If gifted however I'm a fan!

Trying to not have ins until December now. Definitely won't have any until 21st (pay day) as I'm skint! I did manage to save some money so trying desperately to not undo that good work. I don't earn a lot and only have limited disposable so I'm realllllyyyy trying to make good decisions and start a savings pot!!
