  • Ps I know based on the above I should be doing with your luxury brands but I really do find this is an area you get what you pay for. So I scrimp elsewhere and do not drink booze!

I wholeheartedly agree hence why I'm glad I didn't go for a high street foundation yesterday. Saying that it's a shame that you can't buy the mini tester tubes to try first.

Have repaintied my nails and am wearing OPI Sparrow me the Drama. Another old fave.

That was meant to be 'without' not 'with our' ha. Yes foundation I totally agree about its so easy to waste money on. I guess within the premium brands you are in part paying for someone to colour match, ability to have a tester. I need to go ask for some more testers. I've been happy with a formula(ish) but not colour or a colour but not formula thus far!

Houseplant, the Elsmis TSV is aired today. In previous years MRM would buy me four of them so I would have a decent stock of PCMC. Last year, however I asked him not to as I was drowning in other products in the kits that I didn't want.

Last night I managed to buy multiple pots from facebook group QVSell. He will buy these for me as he intended to buy me a 100ml pot. Have saved a ton of money buying this way.

For you though, as you haven't tried PCMC it would be worth ordering from QVC as you could return it if it doesn't suit.

Another UU : L'Occitane Divine mask. This is lovely. Maybe I'll buy a pot in the future. This was sample sachet.

  • Love reading everyones suggestions on here!

    Two more UU:
Nivea 3-in-1 Sensitive Micellar Water WBA - prefer this to using cleansing wipes. Used this on the odd occasion when I couldn't be bothered to 'properly' cleanse. Will buy some more if I see it on offer. Will stick to proper cleansing (and using up face washes!) until then.

Unknown Red Nail Varnish - Not sure what this was as it had been in my collection soooo long. Think it came from a gift set. Scrapped the bottle yesterday to paint my toes. Have another couple of red polishes in my collection.

    Another UU for me

Boots maximum hold hairspray 450ml - have another hairspray in my stash them will most probably not buy again as I have my hair rather short these days.

Finally deciced on my PP and once again it is majority of items I have stated before them just decided not to use but with a few other thrown in. None of these are full.

Clarins one step facial cleanser 200ml
Elemis jasmine and rose hand & nail cream 20ml
    Decleor phytopeel 15ml
Elemis pro-collagen oxygenating night cream 15ml
    Kiehls eye alert 15ml
Aveda botanical kinetics hydrating lotion 150ml
Gatineau defi lift 3d lip care 10ml
Clinique long last glosswear full size
Maxfactor lip liner in pink petal
    Dolce body lotion 150ml?

    Take care all

Lost my way for far too long but now back on board to lead a more simplistic lifestyle

    Mar PP - UU 24 (£279.46), TA 2 (£ 13.99) IN 12 (£89.81)
    Apr PP - UU 27 (£324.94), TA 3 (£38.50) IN 53 (£216.65), GA 6 (£40.97)
    May PP - UU 0 (0.00), TA 0 (0.00), IN 0 (0.00), GA 0 (0.00)
  • I have a few sample size UUs from today. I also deep cleaned my bathroom and got everything out of cupboards. I don't have much bath body and hair stuff at all now, no spares of a lot of things and no duplicates at all. In fact in the new year I will need things but hopefully Santa helps!
Missing having a body scrub, body oil, and decent conditioners. I'd love recommendations of everyone's favourites of those for when I have money!

    UUs:
Clarins melt cleanser sample - WNB skin feels a bit tight after I've decided at least in winter, was looking for a good in shower morning cleanser but still on the hunt. Oskias Renaissance cleanser prob still my favourite from a while ago.
Khiels Amino Acid shampoo and conditioner samples - based on these tiny sachets WNBA however my really a fair trial as I have too much hair for the sachets to work. Needed to shove a bit of extra conditioner on in form of TBS rainforest hair mask, which I love the smell of but don't like apart from! Khiels felt a bit too watery, esepecially condition. Like that they're silicone and sulphate free (I think) but seemed pretty meh.
Muster shower gel sachet, can't remember brand. Bit pointless, meant to smell of fresh cotton but very meak.

Hi Valm, really sorry for the ignorance but what exactly is a TSV - I have never bought anything from QVC! Sounds like something to bear in mind though!

I'm wanting to ask OH to buy me an elemis facial for Christmas. There's somewhere near me that does one and I had one once a few years back and loved it.

I don't use body oil. Prefer a butter or lotion.

Love LUSH Cup of Coffee although they say it's a mask. Have just bought replacement today.

My favourite conditioner is the Vidal Sassoon one that is contained in hair colour ant kit. Have actually just put partly used bottle of L'Occitane conditioner for sale on FB as I'm not getting on with it at all.

Have been to Trafford Centre today and have some INs:-

The above mentioned Cup of Coffee. TC and LUSH in particular were packed. I got accosted by 3 different SAs who didn't know anything!

Anyway, also from L'Occitane I got:-

    Eco Refill of the shampoo
    Eco Refill of liquid soap
Cherry blossom shower gel (gift for friend at work)

This qualified me for free gift consisting of:-
30ml Immortelle oil eye make up remover (excited to try)
Travel sized Almond oil (of course!)
Small bottle of Neroli and Otchidee fragrance (will give to my sister for Xmas)
8ml Devine cream (will give to a friend at work
Small tube of Rose hand cream (will give to same friend
Sample sachet of Shea hand cream.

Not a bad little gift. If anyone wants the online code it's NOEL and free when you spend £45. I also got a voucher for £10 off in December.

MRM bought a Cherry Blossom gift set for Emma which was excellent value. £49 for Tge EDT, Shower gel, soap and mini handcream. Would have bought the perfume anyway which is £42.

He got the free gift too plus voucher.
