Also having issues with my lips they are permanently chapped and sore no matter what and how much I put on them.
Mine are always the same in the winter no matter what I do. Lip scrubs make them more sore. The Palmers Cocoa butter lip balm sometimes works but isn't working at the moment. I find being generally dehydrated, especially if you have had a cold, makes it worse.
An unnecessary IN - a Nyx lipstick in Merlot - bought with points so no spend. I keep saying I must stop buying lipstick, easier said than done!0 -

I suppose the advantage is I'm going to get a lot of lip products UU. I will keep away from Lip Scrubs until they start to feel better. If anyone has any recommendations let me know, think I'll be needing something else soon.
Also any recommendations for Hand creams for seriously dry cracked hands (which have a tendancy to split and bleed). Thanks0 -
Started my Christmas shopping this evening! Resisted the M&S calendar - I'm away for Christmas anyway so I've told myself I can have one next year if my stash is at a manageable level!
IN:
3. Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb - Was given this as a freebieWill probably use this weekend as a treat. Resisted buying anything for myself but I always buy my Mum something from Lush each Christmas.

I am using a Crabtree & Evelyn one which comes in a tube which looks like oil paint should be in it. It is amazing and I have noticed quite a difference altho my hands are not as dry as yours. I think you could get this online or in M & S maybe.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

hi suidreams it sounds really painful. have you tried non-soap washs, applying moisturizer within 3 minutes of washing and cotton gloves. a lot of people with severe dry skin get benifit from aveeno, Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Cream, moo goo irritant balm or mositurizer moo goo skin milk udder cream.
however the cream that i have seen improve the worst possible dry hands was Udderly Smooth Udder Cream. i have seen this cream perform miracles- i hope it might help you http://udderlysmooth.co.uk/stocklists/0 -
Hi everyone! Loving all the good chat on here about the perfect acids (also echo that first aid pads are good!) also can relate to the sore dry hands, chapped lips, flaky skin it seems to have all happened at once recently for me too!
I have two UUs
A 'PMT' bath oil from a organic pharmacy type shop
WNBA/WMBA as could probably make cheaper also wasn't that fragrant and I like a bath oil to have a real wallop of scent.
A DR Hauschka almond bath oil - this was a gift. Feel same as above about scent it's a bit meak, WNB.
Jealous of everyone with lovely beauty advent calendars. I can't afford one but I'm looking forward to hearing about any gems of products you all discover.0 -
2 shampoos t/a, one bath soak donated and one half used hair mask t/a

One UU from last night:
Lush Monster's Ball bath bomb WDBA, oh my god, this was amazing. Such a great and zesty scent. I paired it with half of the Boo bath melt, such a lovely, moisturising bath. Which definitely helped my sore and aching muscles from cleaning train carriages on Tuesday. I imagine I'll be in pain again as I've cleaned them again today0 -

OH hands split and bleed every winter, we have tried lots of different hand creams, the one with the best results so far has been Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream, comes in a metal tube, has a powerful smell but really works. It's a bit pricey compared to most, but a tube lasts him the winter. I tend to stock up when on offer. I also get very dry hands in winter not quite as bad as hubby. I 2nd Stevo's recommendation of Superdrugs own hand rescue balm very good. I don't know how to describe it - but its not wet or sticky and absorbs instantly which is very helpful in my line of work.No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0
