Land Registry error

I know that the Land Registry monitors this site regularly so I am hoping that the person can assist me on a matter that is difficult to resolve as my former solicitors seem incapable of correcting the error in the appropriate way
The price we paid for a purchase last year has been wrong from the moment the Land Registry title was updated. It has been brought to the Land Registry's attention by me on 4 occasions since the beginning of September.
What would you suggest?
Thanks

I'd be more concerned about whether your solicitor made an error on the SDLT return too, and you've defrauded HMRC.......0

Did they overstate or understate the value?0

Why does it matter to you on the LR side? As G_M pointed out, SDLT is the greater issue. Also whether the correct LR fee was paid.0

rp0132 - if you've contacted us 4 times already I very much doubt if we can add anything here other than an explanation/response as already provided
Did you wish to post the details perhaps?
As to our participating on forums such as MSE we feel that we can provide a positive contribution in the same way many other posters do. We may not have or be able to provide all the answers and in many cases what we do is only part of a much wider picture.
Social media has opened up communication channels hugely and there are some great benefits to be shared and we also benefit from the insight and 'real' scenarios discussed here as well.“Official Company Representative

My boyfriend realised recently that there is a mistake on the Land Registry for the house he bought ten years ago; the purchase price is down as £60k more than what was actually paid. Are there any implications for this error when he comes to sell? They are an EYESORES!!!!0

That probably comes down to who reads it and their reaction.
Best to report it and see what details we have etc
http://landregistry.custhelp.com/app/contactus_changesales/
If we've made an error we can correct it but the details both in the data and/or on the register should match what we have been told on the forms submitted.
We are humans though so mistakes can happen albeit very rarely in my experience
Let us know what response you get please“Official Company Representative
