I want a new car!

I'm regularly in Sunderland, those birds can really mess up a car! And yes, their droppings are really big especially the sloppy ones after they've had too much chips and gravy.0 -
Thank you all for your advice. Just thought I'd update. The manager at the Nissan dealers seemed to see my point of view but insisted that as a dealership they can't do anything and I would have to escalate it with Nissan Customer Services. ( I still can't understand this.)
Anyway, as it is still on finance and we put a huge deposit, I asked why they just couldn't upgrade the car. He said I could… however, what a surprise, but the finance deals have changed. Apparently I was on a very good deal but to upgrade on new finance I would be paying another £3000!
So he then looked into buying on the new finance with his staff discount, but I would still be out of pocket.
I went home and thought about it and went back yesterday to see if they might have changed their mind. But I'm afraid not so this is what I'm doing. I hope you think I'm doing the right thing.
On Monday he is emailing Nissan to tell them that I am 'rejecting' the car. From then on it is between me, Nissan Customer Services and the Nissan finance company. This could take months. The manager has promised that if that fails then they would still sand and repaint ( I insisted that the whole car should be checked and I am going to get a detailer's report anyway) and next year I will upgrade. I know I will still be out of pocket but at least that extra I will be paying will be for a year newer car and a newer set of warranties. Should I threaten them with Twitter and Watchdog?
Thank you once again.0 -
Maybe you should look at chasing this with the finance company. Financial complaints have time limits on them so they'll have to get it sorted within a defined period - 8 weeks rings a bell for some reason. Might be worth checking out.0
