Morning all well done on the NSD's - yesterday was a spend day for me but all planned, took sandwich and flask to meet friend to lunch in a park whilst the sun shone.
Managed an hour walk in the morning with the dog - took some photos on my phone of the trees which are stunning just now.
Tea was a beef noodle chinese curry affair using up the last of the roast from Sunday.
NSD planned until Saturday so should achieve civilian status.
Heating on last night for an hour to warm the bones - took dog out for last walk and there was ice on the cars!
Gammon for tea and re check of menu plan for this week
Off to start my mini project

    Have a good day everyone

Mmm. Received MrT vouchers this morning. Thought yay. NSD. But with the chimney sweep, it will be. So, I went to Lidl to pick up the veg. I also picked up other storecupboard stuff that I was going to wait until after the holiday for, thinking it would save me another spend day.

So I spent more than I'd planned. But I now have frozen veg in stock, and MrT vouchers in hand. So hopefully, I can buy the absolute basics on the day we get back without spending any money:D

Not sure it's supposed to work like that but hey ho. Sod's law the chimney sweep won't turn up now!

I noticed the other day that my clubcard points total had gone down, it was earlier than I expected for the vouchers though, I thought it was the end of November. I am saving all my clubcard and nectar points for Christmas along with any vouchers I get from Co-op energy.

My grocery shop is being delivered today but all from this months budget.

DD is going for 2 more adult teeth taking out in preparation for braces fitting - poor thing.

I have soup in the slow cooker and will blitz it with the stick blender soon then add the chicken and that will be for tea with garlic bread.

I have cycled this morning (in the blinding sunlight:eek:) and will walk the dog in a mo, apart from working that's about it here today.

I have donated blood today, so won't be starting c25k as I originally planned - will look at Friday. I have Zumba tomorrow and may take it easier there than normal as it will be within 24 hours and I don't want to get lightheaded (as has happened before)

Whilst out we managed to pick up 2 free slices of cake from b00ts (thanks 02 priority moments!! :D), post a fleabay parcel and bank a cheque I had. Today should be another NSD now. Lunch was omelette for OH (using up the last scraps of ham) and a mushroom, sweetcorn and tomato frittata for me (using up wrinkly mushrooms) - apparently I need to bake brown bread for the soup!! :D I have taken a bag of 2015's chopped Bramleys from the freezer - I will eat some stewed and may turn some into crumble for my mum and DS1 with some of the HG rhubarb also in the freezer. (I still have 3 carrier bags left of this year's Bramleys to process - but want to eat the older stuff first!) No idea what to have for dinner yet, though - fusspants OH needs to agree.....

Well after a NSD yesterday to start off NOvember it's gone pear-shaped already!

I had to stock up on my toiletries for the month today and tried to take special care not to buy anything that I have already that won't run out by the end. I needed face powder, cosmetic cotton pads, moisturiser, square boxed tissues, hand cream (I have to use Aveeno), small handbag sized hairspray and mouthwash. Boots didn't have my mouthwash so I will have to get that another time but bought all the rest. After totalling up it came to £44.05! In my defence (ha! ha!) I did save £10.85 on offers so it would have come to more without these! And I did try downsizing a brand this month - bought Bourjois face powder at £8.99 a pop instead of my usual pricey Clinique! Hope it comes up to scratch! Accordingly I've gone over my monthly toiletries/make up budget which means I can't use the shop as a NSD budgeted item.:(

Apart from that nothing else spent - thank goodness! I will go and sit on the naughty step now....:o

Hello, wow £44 quid on make up and tissues :eek: Better be worth it ;)

BTW it would Not have been a NSD (no spend day) anyway, even if in budget as it is spending money. They only things that don't count are bills like rent, electricity, the monthly gym membership, after school clubs. Even budgeted spends are spends.

Back from the gym. Booked two classes for the rest of the week. Back to work :(
