Can't quote on my phone won't work.
@dean
I know I shouldn't of lied I regret that now and I know most of you probably hate me, I just want to pay every penny back however long it takes.
If I do get sent down Its my own stupid fault and I'll just have to accept it, the only thing I think is if I do go prison I clearly lose my job and won't be able to pay anything back. I guessing the court won't care tho.0 -

I doubt anyone hates you. They hate what you did.0 -

Soulful, depending on the hours you work, you might be entitled to claim a benefit you are actually entitled to, Working Tax Credit.
You might well need to claim it if you have any chance of paying back the ESA you were not entitled to whilst working.
I suffer from anxiety and depression but am annal about checking my bank accounts. I need to know what money has come in and what has gone out so I can budget for bills and repairs.
Start talking to the DWP about a repayment plan BEFORE you end up in Court. If you have £3,000 in your bank, offer them £2,500 + £100 a month to start with.
Show them you are serious about sorting out the mess you have made for yourself by your own admission and the likelyhood is that you will not go to Court.Never Knowingly Understood.

How do you know the people who are walking are on the higher rate for PiP? As for walking okay, who knows how much pain or discomfort they are in? Or how often they have to pause to catch their breath? Or even how many days it took them to be well enough to venture out?
its easy to find out if you are driving around in a disabled entitled car, just enter the reg number in the dvla web site.
Pain or discomfort does not or should not entitle you to have a mobility car, theres thousands or millons got pain & discomfort.
In my community ,i see the bb holders find b/badge spaces & then walk miles to their destinations or shops.
If you are geniune , then you wont mind it being shown in the town hall for everyone to see, it will filter out the fiddlers.
Where i live very close to the golf club, the disabled are not to disabled to go & play a round of golf, but when you see them in town they seem to be struggling, its probably the pain & discomfort your talking about.0 -

We used to have a guy with a mobility car in our road. He used it to go down the pub (about a mile away) and get drunk.
Then he got caught over the limit and the car was taken away.
He still manages to walk down the pub and back every day no problem.0 -
I work 47hrs a week, is that too many to get tax credits?
I got told I need to wait for another letter with how much I owe them and if they're going to take me to court. I wanted a payment plan set up before I left the IUC but they wouldn't let me saying they don't know how much I've had over 3yrs of work.
I plan was to pay £100 a month that'll take around 20yrs to pay back is that too long tho...0 -
I suppose it depends on your personal circumstances such as how much you earn and if you're single or have children.
Personally, and I imagine I might get flamed for saying this, but, I just can't fathom out why someone would be entitled to claim a 'benefit' when they've clearly just defrauded the same from the public purse.0 -

I'm not going to flame you. I'm gobsmacked that someone would even suggest him claiming more benefits.
Try to find an excuse for committing fraud - get caught out committing even more fraud - claim more bennies.
There's something very wrong there.0 -

Andy.
There is plenty of people needing help that carnt get it, yet there are thousands upon thousands on the fiddle that seem to get away with it.
I know of another guy who is on these benefits including mobility, hes a drinker as well, i see him coming out of the pubs in the afternoons, his wife takes the mobility car to get to work in the morning 7am , also she picks 2 work colleges to drive the 20 miles to work ,monday to friday.
i also know of a couple & they have two mobility cars at the same address & neither of them have worked for years, why would you need two cars at the same house!, plus they are good at walking, oh but ive forgot to mention i dont know what pain & discomfort is.:)0
