And we seem to be going back to this model, where housing is redeveloped but offered at mid market rents to people who can afford the rent without resorting to housing benefit, rather than to social tenants who would have much lower incomes. E.g.

That may be a great outcome for the people being targeted - nurses, firemen, policemen and women, but not so good if you're a carer or nursery worker (don't meet the £21k - £39k per annum salary requirement). Or worse, unemployed.0 -
