LW - so glad you're still going to have your doggy visitors.
Everyone else - you've all been really busy, well done.

Today I have been shopping in York, got some skinny jeans in size 12 - go me, and had lunch out with DD and her fiance. When we got back we took the dogs for a longish walk which Poppet was happy to do, and after the dogs had had their bath (Poppet was swimming, bless) they both slept on my lap for 2 hours.

I could do with some sleep now but I have to pick DH up from the paid stuff later. Must remember to put the clocks back or the alarm will go off at 4.15.

    See you all tomorrow.

Jazee - size 12, well done you! I am still in a 14, 12 is my goal x

I have already unloaded the DW and cleaned the kitchen. Going volunteering for a couple of hours this morning, then DH has promised me a lovely brekkie of salmon and eggs. He will also take the kids out whilst I have a nap later. DS back to pre-school tomorrow, DD school on an inset day so she's not back until Tuesday.

Sorry, not much mention of flying, please don't kick me off the thread!

  • Brilliant news LW and congratulations too FB.

I woke up at half five again this morning - this is becoming a habit, never mind I can snooze later. Oh and woke up to find dog had opened his crate and got out again. I have a houdini dog and not the faintest idea of how he is doing it! Maybe he can go on Britains Got Talent.

Been re-organising the office - do I ever stop reorganising the office? One day I will be happy with it. Some rubbish to go out though which is good. Bit of paid stuff this morning, DS to take to footie and not sure what else.

Wonder if I can tiptoe upstairs and gather up some washing. Can I get DSs laundry bag out of the bottom of his wardrobe without waking him up? Then I might as well get on with some work.

Morning all. Just having breakfast here. Hope you're all ok today and rested for that extra hour.

Today I need to sort some stuff out in the garden as we had a delivery yesterday which I'd forgotten was coming. Good job DH was here, but I'd done no prep and now the garden looks like a tip and the dogs are wondering where to relieve themselves.

Also need to hoover and mop through the house at some point, but I am promised Sunday dinner out later when DH finishes the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hi all,
Sorry for being awol. Hope everyone is ok as i haven't had chance to read back on the threads.

It's all been happening over the last weeks. Started back at work . Boy life is going to change!!! It's not the 8-6 bit that worries me. It's the 7pm-10pm doing planning and prep. It means my house gets ignored for the first half of the week and then I spend the last half trying to play catch up! Anyway it has to be done so just got to suck it up and make the bet of it!!!
Also having the kitchen done so spent half term week packing everything up and moving the kitchen into the dining room. So I have a lovely makeshift kitchen with a camping stove and microvave. Two weeks to go before we can move back in! The kitchen and utility have all been ripped out so just the shell remains. Next week is electrics, including new lights, plastering and tiling! We are going to be so poor when it is all finished! Lol! Then the plan is to paint at the weekend so it is all ready to start fitting a week on Monday! So a busy few weeks ahead!

    List for today
    .
    Wm x 3
    Church
    Tip run
    Food shop
    Deliver ds'a thank you cards
    Decorate house for Halloween
    Carve out pumpkins!
Get costumes out ready for tomorrow so we are all ready when I get home from work
    Paid stuff

    That should do me!!! X

Well done on all the new jobs! :T

Yikes frizzle, you won't be using the camping stove indoors, I presume?

We didn't get a lie in <rollseyes> but we are in no rush to get moving either. I've finished the assignment part of my homework - still need to do my journal (but that's the easy bit). Inlaws are visiting this morning, we're all going up to watch DS football training. It's supposed to be mild and pleasant so we'll take camping chairs and get coffee and bacon butties from the kiosk.

I've done a wash and cheating by using the dryer (now I've read the manual to work out how, lol) for some of the bits.

Last night the kiddies wanted to make the hutch up, so lined it first then let them go wild with the hay and put the little hidey-holes in the sleep section. It looks very cosy in there :)

Oh dear, DD is coming to read over my shoulder. Really grates on me, that does! Byeee
