Well one of them has to leave and surely it should be the one who has suggested the marriage is over. It would only be short term while the house is sorted out.
Most definitely I agree one of them have to move out. What I mean is with the house is get sorted asap as I have seen threads on home buying I'd that some have left it for years and then question what the split should be etc and then the problems start.
I hope for the OP sake they can sort the house out ' friendly', but my gut feeling she going to need a solicitor.
As a lodger (if got one)I wouldn't like to be piggy in the middle.0
