    Most definitely I agree one of them have to move out. What I mean is with the house is get sorted asap as I have seen threads on home buying I'd that some have left it for years and then question what the split should be etc and then the problems start.

    I hope for the OP sake they can sort the house out ' friendly', but my gut feeling she going to need a solicitor.

    As a lodger (if got one)I wouldn't like to be piggy in the middle.
