Had a lovely weekend! Me, DH and the dogs went down to my parents on Friday and I got to look after my 3 gorgeous nephews Friday night while my bro and SIL went out. Saturday we had a BBQ at my parents and all the family came round which was lovely. Yesterday morning we came home with my 14yr old cousin in tow who will be spending the week with us. He's already cost me some money as he needs a new playstation 4 controller but I was able to get it from amazon through prime so not as costly as Game or other normal shops! I do like to spoil him while he's here though as his mum passed away when he was 11 so he's had a rough time, bless him! When I can get him out of bed today we'll go somewhere with the dogs and get coffee and cake before DH goes back to work tomorrow.
I had some success on Ebay last night, one of my bikes has been bought, paid for and collected already so that's one sorted! The Next purse has been bought and will be posted today. The other bike had been bought and after giving the guy my address for collection and payment, he messaged to say his wife didn't want it so he won't be coming to get it! It has been relisted so fingers crossed!
Have a lovely day!

It's taken me a few weeks but I've just finished reading your diary (I've been working my way through a few on the board simultaneously!) and I might have to steal yours/SJ's colour in the house picture idea each time £1k is knocked off total owed
I'm impressed by your food spendage. I haven't kept track of how much we're spending on food lately but it's definitely crept up over the past couple of years, gonna have to address this pronto! Looking forward to watching you MF journey progress. GeorgieMFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

Hi Georgie :hello: Thank you for reading through my ramblings!! Definitely do a house chart, it's very motivating and also very exciting when you colour in one of those boxes! (that sounds so sad! Lol!). Thanks for saying that although I know there are people alot more disciplined than me on the food spending! It is definitely an area worth looking at if you want to save some money. Do you have a diary? I'll have a nose! :rotfl:Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

I'm already planning the house chart! Thinking of using a picture of our house in the background (faded out a bit) with a grid over it. Some people may think it's sad, but so be it
I don't have a diary. Have been considering it, but wondering whether I'd have the motivation to keep it up. Keeping myself occupied enough on an evening reading through other's diaries at the moment, but maybe once I'm through a few more of those... Will mull it over this week.MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019
